Chris:
I pushed the door of the old Church.
Perfect! It's not closed yet.
The big lights are off, but the dim lights on both sides and at the bottom part of the religious statues are on; giving the place a very calming, soothing zen. Walking in the centre aisle brings back all the memories;
Those sweet, effervescent memories that still lingers on my mind until now.
My heart's euphonic, sweet-sounding beat resonates while reminiscing those moments I treasured the most – those memories that are utterly nostalgic and will never, ever forget.
*A woman's voice suddenly echoes in the background. Chris continues to walk along the aisle while heeding the said voice on his mind*

"Chris! Chris! Where are you?! CHRIS!"

My feet pause on roaming and stands beside on one of the chairs. I sat quietly and kneeled, holding both my hands while clutching all my fingers together. I slightly bow my head afterwards and closes my eyes.
"Hello, Mr. 'Big Man Up There!' I'm so sorry if I'm a bit late tonight. Chaz was an absolute pain for convincing me to go out with some of our mates tonight. Plus, Bella's waiting for me that's why I nearly forgot my Thursday chit-chat with You."
~Flashback~
My face is still a big mess. I'm still in tears – well, for hours now – sobbing in utter pain and anger. The bruises are brutally showing all over my face and my body. My school top is partially ripped-off, and the dirt is all over me like I rolled myself in a big pile of cow s**t.
My schoolmates bullied me just because of my Mum. They keep on calling names against her—
—I mean, horrendous names that you couldn't even bear to hear.
I've no Dad, nor have met him. He left my Mum while she's still conceiving on me. She gave birth to me and raised me on her own. In other words, I'm an 'illegitimate child' in the eyes of the kids of my age. They keep on calling all sorts of despicable names against my Mother like; my Mum is a flirt, my Mum is this and that;
And the worst, they even called her a wh**e resorting myself into a big and messy fight.
Scared and worried that Mum might scold me because of what I've done, I didn't come home and run to this old Church instead.
"Chris! Chris! Where are you?! Chris!"
The cold shivers of this freezing, old Church have started to devour me. It's winter, aside from the fact that I've been hiding under this marble-like table for – I don't know, I couldn't exactly remember. I curled myself even more just to warm my whole body.
"Chris! CHRIS!"
I lift my messy face while heeding that familiar voice calling my name. I squeezed myself more so that she won't find me. She continues calling me, trying her best to search where I am. Her voice suddenly fades in the background while a deafening silence surrounds the whole Church.
Maybe she thought I'm not here. Brilliant!
I'm about to come out under the table when a pair of brown boots immediately shows up in front of me.
