Furry Thief
Coat of orange fur
Or grey with white and brown lines—
A squirrel looks cute.
A squirrel looks cute,
But is quite a little beast—
With sharp claws and teeth.
With sharp claws and teeth,
He tears fruits and cracks the nuts—
Wrecks up your garden.
Wrecks up your garden,
Might even chew the wiring—
Nesting in your home.
Nesting in your home,
Eats the flower and fruit trees—
Leaving you furious.
Leaving you furious,
Determined to protect—
Your home and garden.
Your home and garden,
Now wrapped and fenced in—
Seemingly is safe.
Seemingly is safe
But fence is just wood and wire—
And squirrels are tough,
And squirrels are tough,
Soon you can catch a flash of—
Coat of orange fur.
