My Serenity
Serenity, in beauty,
Sat silently;
Offering peace,
To the likes of me.
She bid my chaos,
To take a repose;
And fed my soul,
From nature's prose.
My thoughts yet racing,
She whispered soft,
And stilled my mind,
With a rose scented waft.
Before my eyes,
Flowers danced for me,
To the tunes of birds,
In her sanctuary tree.
My heart breathed,
With a restful sigh;
As I watched Serenity,
Paint the sky.
All of this...
For the likes of me?
Thank you Father,
For my friend, Serenity.
