Those Fine Days
Do you remember those fine days?
When you earned happiness and praise?
How sweet of you to remind me
Of the innocence that used to be
How I missed your smile my friend
Wish each minute with you was penned
Those moments you spent in bliss
Those laughs and platonic kisses
On those unperturbed cheeks
Full grins that would last for weeks
How pure and carefree you were
Your sorrows passed in a blur
Wide eyes full of the joy you had
Embraces from Mom and Dad
Do not forget you made them proud
It makes me soar on ninth cloud
Reminiscing about those fine days
When we earned happiness and praise
