I'm almost one hundred percent sure that my heart is about to explode as I lie spread eagle on the gyms floor. This Guy teacher is completely insane. There is no way I can do five hundred pushups! There is just no way.
I grumble to myself as I try to move. I can see out of the corner of my eye Inuzuka still going and I'm furious. Why won't my body cooperate with me!
"Naruto my youthful pupil, why are you sleeping on the job?" Guy asks casually as he strolls over to where I lay dying on the gym floor.
I groan loudly. "Maybe because I can't feel my legs and I'm pretty sure my chest is going to explode," I grumble through my ragged breathing, "but don't worry about me just a minor setback." I mumble giving him a thumbs up.
"The power of youth flows through your veins! Now onward Naruto, with the power of youth!" Guy cheers as I watch him strike a pose even I would never be seen doing.
The bell chimes through the gym and a new found energy blooms within me. I jump to my feet quickly and make my escape to the locker room. This teacher has obviously fallen off his rocker. I change quickly, deciding that I can just shower when I get home. I'm supposed to meet Sasuke after school so my father can give us a ride home.
I end up being the first person out of the locker room. I look around before running out of the gym, hoping that Guy won't see me. Once outside I heave a sigh of relief and sink down the wall and close my eyes. Every day of that for a whole year is going to kill me. Then I realize that if I take it seriously I could be sporting some killer muscles this summer break and what's better is I could finally beat Inuzuka at his own game. I laugh and smile evilly to myself.
I'm kicked out of my fantasy by Sasuke who is standing above me. "Is Sakura out yet?" Sasuke asks from above me.
I groan. "Hey! Mr. Youth in there almost just killed me. She's still changing." I reply leaning my head back on the wall.
Sasuke shrugs. "I'm going to spend some time with her, so you don't have to wait." He says kicking me again.
I groan as I heave myself to my feet. "Okay, I will let my dad know." I say waving once over my shoulder as I head to my father's classroom. I stop as a thought pops into my head. "Hey Sasuke, is Itatchi being a jerk again?" I ask folding my arms behind my head.
Sasuke grunts. "Nothing out of the ordinary." He responds dully before opening up the gym door and disappearing inside.
Yea, that's what I thought was up. Now that I know what's going on, the only thing that's on my mind now is the fact that I can now take a nap when I get home.
