Sakura's fingers slow and soon her hand is entangled in my hair. I chance a glance at her and see that she has fallen asleep, just my luck. Finally we have some alone time and she falls asleep on me. I can't be mad though, she looks so peaceful when she sleeps.
The feeling that I have been fighting to suppress is now free as I gaze over at Sakura with a small smile. At first when we met I wasn't sure about her, she seemed like a sheep, one that follows blindly not really sure how anything makes her feel. Then Uchiha broke her heart. At first I wanted to kick his ass because really, who cheats on their girlfriend? I fought the eternal battle of whether or not to get involved.
Hinata decided that for me whether she wants to admit it or not. She was struggling to help Sakura and I finally involved myself. After that I never really questioned what possessed me to help her, but now I'm sure glad I did. Who would have thought that the broken girl in the park could be so beautiful?
I sigh deeply. My thoughts have lead me to the place that I have been avoiding for a while now, the place where I know I like Sakura more than I should. I slowly move out from under her hand and shake her gently. "Sakura, you can't sleep in here." I say quietly.
Sakura lets out a soft moan and stretches. "Yea, I know. It's just so peaceful and relaxing." She mumbles slowly sitting up.
I smile. "Sure is, but I'm hungry so I'm going to go get changed and head to the dinning room." I say going to exit the sauna.
The door opens before I can grab the doorknob and Hinata's cousin Neji stands on the other side in green and black flannel pajama pants and a long sleeved gray shirt. He looks surprised to see me on the other side briefly before he smiles politely. "Dinner will be ready in thirty minutes." He says.
Sakura climbs down off the top ledge of the sauna and heads for the exit. "Thank you Neji." She yawns with a laugh. "Guess I was more tired than I thought." She laughs.
Neji nods with a smile. "Well the sauna is no where you should be sleeping." He replies, stepping out of the doorway so that we may exit.
"Yea, Kiba was kind enough to wake me up." Sakura says elbowing me in the ribs.
I roll my eyes at her before I turn on her, attacking her sides with my fingers. Sakura bursts into laughter and tries to push me away, but she isn't strong enough to keep me away. In defeat she collapses into my chest giggling. "Kiba you know I can't fight back when you do that." She says through fractured laughter and gasping breaths.
I laugh and drape my arm over her shoulder. "Just wait till later." I say with a wink.
I can see Neji smiling faintly as Sakura looks at me with an open mouth. "You wouldn't." She breathes.
I smile my classic wolfish grin and guide her out of the pool room. "Guess it just depends really." I say thoughtfully.
Sakura eyes me and a smile slowly spreads across her lips. "You're bluffing." She says, a grin now on her face.
I laugh, she thinks she knows me so well, but reality is she has no idea the amount of self-restrain it is taking to not kiss her. We get to the bedroom doors and before I take my arm away from Sakura I drop my head down close to her ear. "Try me." I whisper. I wink at Sakura before going into the boy's bedroom, leaving her shaking her head and smiling in the hallway. Maybe after dinner we can watch that movie like Hinata suggested earlier.
