Chapter 39

~Ichigos POV~
We ran towards Kaia as she finished her battle. She turned towards us and them collapsed on the floor. I sat next to her before her head hit the floor. Her head was leaning against my lap. Her limp body was on her right side with her left arm over her torso with her right laying comforting on the ground.

"She did pretty good for a girl who cant see." Ikkaku said. I moved a stand of hair away from her face. Once I touched her hair the blonde started to sparkle and turned a hint if silver.

"Is she alright?" Rangiku asked.

"I hope she is." I said.

"Yeah shes ok. She wasted alot of energy fighting him. She need to do what she had done. She just need to rest." Urahara said. He picked her up and we started heading towards his shop so he could fix her up.

"Did you see her hair change color?" Rukia asked me. I looked at her and nodded.

"Yeah strange." I said. She nodded. We walked into the shop with Urahara and Yoruichi went in the training area to attend Kaias wound.

"Is she alright?" A familiar voice said coming into the living room. I cocked my head to the left to caught a sight if Kage.

"When did you get here? First when did you leave?" I questioned. He walkednin and sat down.

"I appear once in a while if I need and wanted to. I saw what happened with Kai. Is she alright?" He asked once again.

"She is fine. She is unconscious right now." Toshiro said with his arm crossed and head down.

"Thats good to here. Is it me or did you feel her spiritual pressure raised?" Kage asked drinking some tea Tessai bought out for us.

"I felt it." Rangiku said looking at her wrapped arm. Rukia, Toshiro, Chad, and Yumichika nodded.

"Now that you mentioned it, yeah I did." I said looking at him.

"Psh she is always strong." Renji said.

"She is quite strong but this was out of the ordinary." Uryuu said fixing his glasses.

"Her hair grew blonde, silver. She myst if gained power while she was fighting." Ikkaku said. We all agreed and talked about it.

"She is getting better and better as time progresses." A light warm voice filled the room. We looked at the direction of the door.

"Dad? What are you doing here?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him.

"The hollow Kaia was fighting was really strong. Tremendous powers. Shocking she actually defeated it." He said walking in.

"You knew Isshin?" Renji asked.

"She is like her mother. Always fighting. No matter where she goes. Darkness develops but is always tamed." Dad spoke.

"What powers did she gain?" I asked.

~Kaias POV~

I felt something cold and cool on my back. Then something hot that made my skin burn. I shot opened my eyes. I almost jumped up and run and beat the crap out of who was doing this to me.

"Woah calm down now there little lady. Your alright. Your safe." My dads voice filled my ears. The stinging was back. I groaned and squirmed around.

"Does it hurt?" Shi asked. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"No Shi, it feels like Im laying in the cool pool. No shit it hurts!" I snapped at him. I could sense he was by my left leg so I kicked him. He groaned.

"Ouuch babe that hurts!" He said. I sighed again. Its already a pain losing my eye sight but of pain having annoying zanpakutos and also having your back being infected with venom.

"Kaia we got most of the venom out. Your back is sort of healing but not quiet." Yoruichi said. I felt her warm hand applying medicane on my back. I closed my eyes and let the medicane soak into my skin.

"Woah Hikari you look fancy." Shi said.

"Why are you so dressed up?" I moved
my head to the left.

"I cant see." I whinned.

"Sorry princess. You will see eventually." Hikaris cold but warm hands touched my cheek. Shi said something about him looking fancy.

"Your hair is different." Dad said. My hair? Whats with my hair?

"What you mean?" I asked.

"Its from blonde to silver." I hate not seeing. A couple hours gone by. The pain on my back ad stopped. I could feel the scar starting to heal. Its good being a vampire but somethings I hate being one.

"Woah Kaia your hair." Ikkaku said. Is my hair that bad? I cant even see for starters!

"You look beautiful." Yumichika said.

"Thank you but I cant see it." I said.
The scent of half raw half cooked stack and chicken with rice filled my nose. I devoured the food.

"Um we were talking to Captain Yamamoto and we need to get back and report back n whats going on here." Toshiro said.

"When are you leaving?" Ichigo asked.

"Tonight." Renji said.

"Plus we need to get more information on A-" Rangiku was cut off by something.

"Also school is over. Because of the incident of that hollow." Ruka said. "So why not all of us go back home. Were done here anyways. For now."

"What you mean by all?" I asked swallowing the food.

"Kai your going with them." Dad said.

"Um no Im not. The soul society would be shocked and scared that Im there. Im not ready to see them. Or you know what I mean." I said.

"We know a guy that could help you get your eye sight bac-" Dad was cut off by me having a vision. There he was. The green ora. Him with his evil smile. Everything was dark and light. I never seen that palce before. Or did I?

"Go. You need your eye sight back dont you? It would be easier to find me, or if you could." The voice was cold and deep. He started laughing.

I gasped dropping the bowl of rice I was holding.

"Kaia are you alright?" Yoruichi touched my arm. I nodded slowly.

"Yeah, lets just go." I said. I walked to
my room and packed. Well just grabbed my cloak and changed my shirt to a black tight crop top with long black pants. My chains rattled. I walked out side.

"Are you ready to see you second home?" Hikari said.

"To be honest, no. Im kind of scared."

"Ready?" Ranguki asked. I nodded.

"Wait!" Ichigo said. "Im ready."

"Whos going again?" I asked.

"Ichigo, Uryuu, and Chad." Rukia said.

"Why?"

"I need to finish stuff up there." Ichigo said. I nodded. I took a deep breath. Ikkaku touched my arm.

"You'll be fine." He whispered in my ear.

"I hope.

"Open the gate of the soul society." Toshiro said. I never that I would hear someone say those words again. We walked in. I heard birds chirpping, water splashing. I inhaled the scent of lavender. A fresh breeze brushed against my skin. I pulled the cloak over my head and let Ikkakus hand lead me.

"Nice to see your back Captain Hitsugaya, Rukia, Renji, Rangiku, Yumichika and Ikkaku." A nice innocent voice filled my ears. I hated it.

"Oh Ichigo, Uryuu, and Chad nice of you to visit, Who a-" she gasped. I squeezed Ikkakus' hand. I hide my spirtual pressure. I hate it already.
