A year later, Angelo coped up to his break up. He met his childhood friend Paula Bowldes.
“Remember…your promise?” she teased.
“Yeah…will you?” Angelo asked.
“I DO!” she kissed him.
His promised was to marry her when they were still single at age 30.
“I think falling for a guy won’t do any good.” Angelo thought.
Later that night someone banged his door.
“Arrgh…better call the security…” Angelo thought. Guess who it was…it’s Keanner. Angelo was surprised.
“EXPLAIN YOURSELF…” Keanner demanded. Angelo was puzzled.
“EXPLAIN WHY…YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED AND IT WASN’T ME?” Keanner grumbled.
“You promised me…” Keanner hid his tears. Angelo just realized that it was the first time that he saw the self-righteous, all-knowing-freak, better-than-anyone-fuck like Keanner cried like that. He was cute when his like that. Angelo thought.
“Look, Pie was so great…and she loves me more that anyone…I guess…I am contented on that.” Angelo said.
“BUT I LOVE YOU…I WAITED ALL THESE YEARS…BECAUSE YOU SAID…” Keanner looked flustered. Angelo sighed.
“Tell me are you really that serious…coz I don’t think I can handle to be broke again…” Angelo said. Long paused. Keanner approached Angelo gently.
“I DO.” Keanner said then kissing him passionately.
“Do you love me?” Keanner asked.
“I have a fiancée.” Angelo replied. “You’re not answering my question…” Keanner raised a brow.
Angelo could not answer because Paula had been there for him even before. He could not have the strength to hurt her just like Jason did to him.
Then someone appeared from the shaded part of the room.
“It’s okay Low, answer him truthfully…” Paula said. He dropped by to return some medical papers she barrowed. She saw Keanner kissing him.
“P-pie…I…I…” Angelo stammered and pushed Keanner away from him.
Long silence.
Then…
Dang!
“Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii…OMG…I FINALLY SAW SOME HOT KISSING BETWEEN TWO GORGEOUS GUYS…I thought it only happened in movie…but this is sooooooooooooo….FANTASTIC…” Paula yelled while giggling around. She was a closet fan girl. The movie she was telling was the restricted underground boy love affair that she bought secretly in a Secret Yaoi Lover Society movie stand.
Angelo was stunned at the same way disappointed. He never thought that his friend was such but felt a bit relief because even though she knew, she never judged him.
“So, lovey-dovey…gonna go now…just dropping by to return this…you can continue what’s you had been left behind.” Paula said while giving a flying kiss. She dashed off happily.
Angelo gawked for a while when Keanner tossed him on the sofa.
“What the” Angelo was shocked.
“So I guess…we are involved now to each other...huh…” Keanner smirked.
Angelo blushed but fought back, “You wanted to be call GAY?” he smug.
“”Nope…but if it’s for you…I’m okay with that…though…I’m not gay coz you’re the only one that I had been fall to…” Keanner smiled and kissed him.
Angelo thought…
“I guess I should be more true to myself…now…” “…Keanner I love you, too.”
Remember the ring they had before? He did wear it again.
