New Life (au) part 2

Part 2: New Friendships:

One month later....

- Wait a minute, Jace! Fire, you walk very fast. - Simon said running to catch up with me.

Who was Simon? I will explain. On my first day of classes, I ran into a boy, because that was Simon who this month became one of my best friends. We were no longer just the three musketeers, but now we were the six musketeers.

Magnus Bane is a classmate of Alec's and I think it is also his most recent crush. Clarissa Fairchild, or as we call her, Clary Fray is Simon's best friend since she was a child and is now very fond of Izzy, who loved her the first minute she met her and lastly Simon Lewis my best friend. Simon is a bit of a nerdy guy, loves music, photography and comics.

We also have Raphael but she is not well considered a close friend, but another Izzy crush, or even more than that, who knows. At the moment they are just friends but in the future who will tell ?!

But it is not just our life that has changed this month, our mother, Maryse found a new love, or at least it is what we found despite her just saying that she was just a friend. He's called Luke and he's a cop. We have met him a few times and he is an extremely nice man but the most important thing is that he makes our mother happy.

"Shall we have lunch?" I asked and Simon just smiled, I knew that was a yes, so we went to the cafeteria.

- You're always hungry! Don't you really eat at home? "I asked, laughing.

- Not always, but it's not my fault that some classes make me hungry! It's not my fault, "replied Simon, laughing.

"What's not your fault?" Asked Alec, coming to our side.

- May I always be hungry.

- It's the classes that do it like that, sometimes it happens to me too, - said Clary when we got to the queue, but this time the one who was guarding the place was not Izzy, but Magnus, which both Alec and I thought very strange.

- Where's Izzy?

- She texted me saying she was going to see Raphael and that she was coming to us later. I was in charge of ordering her lunch and everything, "replied Magnus.

"She and Raphael are getting closer and closer, don't you think?" Asked Alec.

"We are just friends, dear brother," said Izzy, joining us in line at the bar.

The rest of the afternoon passed quickly and when we found out, we were already entering the house. I, unlike my brothers, just came to change clothes, as I had agreed to go for a walk with Simon.

There was a beautiful park on the edge of my house, about five to seven minutes away and that's where we stayed to meet. I had arrived there and it was still ten minutes before the appointed time, so I went to sit on one of the benches.

Sometimes when I am alone in my room I start thinking about what my life would be like if I had never come here and I always come to the same conclusion, which is that the best thing that has happened to us so far, has been to come here.

"Thinking about what?" Asked Simon, sitting next to me.

- Nothing special ... Only that my life and that of my family has changed a lot since we moved here. I never thought that my life would improve in such a short time and you are one of the reasons that happened.

"Me?" Asked Simon, smiling, but surprised at the same time.

- Yes, I never thought of meeting a person like you in just a month. You are the most genuine, friendly, loyal and funny person I have ever met. You are also a little too nerdy, I don't understand your passion for comics but it is one of the things that make you unique and I am very happy to have the opportunity to be your best friend.

- My life also changed a lot when you arrived at our school. I mean I know that half of the people who study at that school can be considered nerds, but they are not and besides that my love for scientific sciences and comic books and the fact that I am the only gay boy assumed at school, does not help in my reputation, so making friends, unfortunately, is not easy for me. Until you arrived, I only had one friend, Clary, but now I have a kind of gang.

- Gang, really serious Simon?

- You got it!

The rest of my afternoon and the beginning of my night was spent with Simon, after spending some time in the park looking at the views, we went to dinner at a restaurant called Takki's, where we ate Simon and I had two pizzas, one of peperoni and another one of olives, bacon and cheese and then we went to have a coffee at a bar near the restaurant before we left.

When I got home I tried not to make a noise and managed to get to my room without waking anyone but when I got to my room I saw that Alec was not at home.

I changed my clothes, went to brush my teeth and then lay down on the bed and fell asleep. I woke up with a crash in the hall and when I was going to get up, I saw that it was Alec who had come home and we can say that he was a little bit drunk.

- My mind, please, make less noise. I don't know if you know but there are four more people in this house who are trying to sleep.

- Sorry, I'll try to make less noise, - said Alec pulling the blankets so he can lie down and sleep.

In a few seconds I fell asleep again and when I woke up it was half past eleven in the morning. I put on my slippers and went downstairs to go get something to eat.

- Good morning, brother, is Alec still sleeping?

- Yes, he came home very late and drunk ... He will wake up full of headaches, poor thing.- I replied and while telling my sister, a malicious smile appeared on her lips and I knew exactly what she wanted to say to me.

We went to the kitchen slowly, took some pots and pans and then went to my room, careful not to wake Alec ahead of time. Izzy positioned herself on the left and I on the right of her bed and at three we started making noise by hitting pots and pans.

- You can stop it ... So much noise, my head feels like it's going to explode.- Alec said waking up as soon as we started with the noise and he was angry.

- I think our mission here is complete and successful, so we were able to leave.- said Izzy.

- Me when I get out of this bed, I will kill you both, - said Alec as we left my room and left him alone with his headaches due to the hangover.

The rest of the morning was cool and in the afternoon I met Simon again, where we spent the afternoon together until it was time for dinner where everyone went to their home.
