POV SIMON:

After Heidi cut my sister's throat, my hunger immediately overcame me and when I found myself I was sucking blood from my sister's neck. I wanted to stop but my vampire hunger was in control but something made me stop, or rather someone.

"Simon, Simon, you have to stop," Jace said from behind me. - She keeps breathing.

- Oh my god, what I went to do .... I'm a monster! Rebecca.- said kneeling beside her inanimate body but my mother spoke, or rather screamed first.

- You get away from her! Don't you touch her! You hurt her again and it will be the last thing you ever do, I swear to God! You stay away from her! You stay away from this family! I swear to God, I will kill you! You are not my son! You're a monster. Get out! Get out!

- I already called an ambulance, it must be right on the way. - Jace said touching my arm. - Simon we have to go!

We left my house and my tears kept falling. I can't believe what I did, I could have killed my sister.

- I can't imagine what you're feeling right now ... What Heidi did ...

- What did I do!

- Heidi manipulated you and tortured you ... You are not to blame for anything that happened inside.

- I was the one who fed on my sister.

"Becca will be fine, she just needs a blood transfusion," Jace said and I looked at my house and then back at him.

"I tried to get back to normal but there's nothing normal about me ever again. The way my mother looked at me ... I'm a monster!

- You're nothing! You're a good man, Simon Lewis, and you'll be able to move on with my help.

"May I ask you to come to the hospital with me?"

"Of course I will!" Said Jace and we went to the hospital.

When we got there I went to see how my sister was doing and thanks to the gods she was better. I had done the transfusion and after explaining to her how I had become a vampire and who Heidi was, she understood and said it was not my fault.I was with her for a few more minutes but then I went to see my mother and settle things forever. When I entered she was on her back and when she saw me she was startled.

"I won't hurt you, I know what you went through when you lost dad, but what I'm going to do now has to be done." Look into my eyes and just listen to me. Your son Simon is not a vampire, this is how you manage your pain. There was an accident but your son did not suffer. In his final moments he thought about how he would miss you and where he ends up in his next life, will never stop thinking about you. He will always love you! "I said trying to contain my tears and kissed my mother's forehead.- Simon Lewis is dead!

As I said this, I turned my back and stepped off the edge of my mother, who burst into tears. My tears fell more and more but I knew I had made the right choice to charm my mother so she could believe I was dead.

Reaching for me, Jace left his position and came to hug me. All I wanted now was to cry and be in his company so I hugged him tighter.

After a few minutes in that position, we left and went to the institute. I didn't want to go home, because if I found myself alone with nothing to do, I would think about what had happened until I went crazy, but with company I could fade away.

"What do you want to do?" Jace asked as we reached the institute.

- We can train a little.- said and Jace took the sticks and gave me.

We started and the things I was thinking about before we started were no longer in my head, the only thing I was thinking about was getting Jace to start training with swords. Jace had been training with me for a few months and we never got off the sticks and I wanted to fight with swords.

- It's not all about speed!

"When are we going to use the swords?" I asked, smiling and he just laughed.

- When you can beat me on the sticks.

"Do you mean today?" I asked and attacked but he could always defend. "Maybe I don't know today."

- Don't feel bad if you were any other coach, you would have beaten them a long time ago. Your luck is that it's me and I'm very good at what I do!

"Thanks for this little bit but I have to leave." I cannot abuse your hospitality.

- I can always go to dinner at your house, so neither you're alone nor I have to go to dinner with my brother and his fiance. They are always clinging, sometimes even looking away not to get so sick of sweet!

- Of course you can.

POV JACE:

The situation Simon was in was very unpleasant, which Heidi did to his family, I don't even want to imagine. After seeing him feeding on his sister's blood and seeing the pained face he had for not being able to stop and I had to help him but how? The only thing he wanted was to go to the hospital to see how his sister was doing. When we got there she was still transfusing and so we had to wait.

I wanted to ask how he was but I didn't want him to remember what he'd done much longer. Minutes later the doctor came to our side saying it had been a success and could already see it even though she was still sleeping.

Contrary to what you might think, I wasn't going to sit in the waiting room, so I walked in with him and stood at the door to give them more privacy to talk.
No sooner had Simon sat in his chair than his sister opened her eyes and remembered what had happened in her house. I knew that Simon thought his sister was going to blame him and was going to say that he was a monster and honestly, I thought so too but she said he was not to blame and did not know how he had managed to get through this situation alone.

After leaving her sister's room, she went to her mother but I was then out because I knew what he was going to do and it was better if he did it alone. After he left the room, I noticed his eyes in tears and just did what my heart told me, hugged him.

We grabbed for a few more minutes and took him to the institute where we were going to train a little to see if he was relieved. It seemed like he could stop thinking about what happened but he had to go home, we couldn't stay here forever, so I had the brilliant idea of joining him for dinner, even though I knew vampires didn't eat human food.

As there was nothing at his house for dinner, I ordered a pizza and while we waited for it, we were playing some console games. Upon the arrival of my peperoni pizza, we were watching a science fiction movie, which were his favorites.

The movie we were watching was about two and a half hours and was already getting sleepy so I asked if I could stay here tonight and he of course didn't mind and said I could go to the guest room that was his former roommate, Jordan.

He might not know what to do, but one thing I did know was that I had to cheer him up wherever he went!
