Not Even Death can do us apart

The fight with Valentine was about to end and everyone could feel it. At this time, Simon, Alec, Jace and Clary were following a clue due to the sword Valentine had in his possession. They reached the agreed place, but no one was there, no trace of Valentine and the sword.

"Are we too late?" Clary asked.

"No, if he had used the sword, we would have known." I think we arrived earlier than him and this is how we can gain an advantage over him.- Jace said, but Valentine appeared behind him and turning, Valentine stuck the ladder in the heart of Jace.

"I apologize, son," said Valentine.

As this happened to Jace, Alec bowed in pain. It was as if something inside him was dying and was the result of the parabatai mark he had with Jace. All the negative things that happened to Jace, Alec felt effects on his own skin. Clary went running to Alec while Simon went to Jace.
"Jace!" Alec shouted, wincing in pain as Clary tried to calm him down.

Simon knelt at the edge of Jace and tears began to fall. His hands came to her beloved vampire's face.

- I'm sorry, Simon.

- Say nothing, spare the effort. You need your strength, everything will be fine.

"I love you," Jace said as he closed his eyes.

Although Valentine dodged the blows, Simon was quicker and with clearer reflexes so the fight between the two quickly ended with Simon coming out champion, stabbing Valentine in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground with blood.

- Simon Lewis has managed to end the threat of Valentine Morgenstern and as a reward you can only ask for one wish.

"Just one thing I want, I want Jace back," said Simon, turning to Jace's body lying down. "Bring him back, please."

After his request to bring Jace back, the angel's light faded into the sky but nothing happened, so Simon moved quickly to the edge of his still-in-love beloved's body. Seconds after the light faded, Jace began to move slowly and opened his eyes to look at me.

"I used my wish to bring you back."

"I don't want anything else in the world ..." said Simon and Jace kissed him.

"Simon, thanks for bringing my brother back," Alec said, hugging me.
