Today Is The Day

Today is the day summer is coming to an end there's gonna be a multi school mash up party so everyone is going to be there I'll see some friends from my old school and other schools I honestly can't wait there's no telling what kind of Stuff is going to be there. I open up my phone and text the group chat it's been a minute I ask if everyone is ready to party because tonight is going to be the biggest party ever.

Mia- My summer has been kind of boring so I need this in my life rn.

Bestfriend 💚🤞🏽🥰- You know I'm always down to party right and it's a mix up of schools so you know everybody gonna be there. You about to be surrounded by EVERYBODY because they miss you.

Me- I'm so excited my summer has been shit and good at the same time but y'all know I'm pushing through for this party..

Bestfriend 💚🤞🏽🥰- So we looking real hookerish tonight right I mean it is the last party over the summer.

Me- it's okay so did I but I'm fine guys really I'm single so I'm about to really enjoy this party I'm trying to black out and not remember anything.

Dontae- I'm with the blacking out yall my summer was bomb and I don't want it to end but I'd like to end it with a BLACK OUT.....

Me- lol okay I'll see y'all tonight & who house is the party at anyway I don't remember.

Donte- So ms Sasha would you like to tell her cause I gotta go I'm outta here.

Bestfriend💚🤞🏽🥰- The mash up is at Blaze house I thought you remembered?

Me- it's fine I'm good at avoiding people I've got this I've avoided him and Adrian all summer. Even tho Adrians sister came into the store.

Mia- Eh Fuck it we not talking about none of this unless we talking how drunk we getting BYEEE see y'all tonight.

I laugh and open up me and Sasha text and ask her if she wants to go shopping for an outfit. She replied instantly let's go get some Hoe clothes I laugh and tell her I'm getting ready. Then we head to the mall it's already 1 so we're looking for what to wear and honestly I have no idea I want to be cute it's gonna be a bon fire theme so I need to fit the theme. We're in the mall for about 3 hours until I found the perfect outfit (above without the shoes) we leave and go to my house because James took the kids out to some jump place and no ones here since I drove to the mall we leaving the car and catching a ride to the party then i can't even say how I'm getting home but that doesn't matter until the time comes. We're getting ready I hop in the shower and get all nice and clean get out put some lotion on and proceed to get dressed. I put on a big tshirt to wear while I do my make up and hair I haven't decided how I wanted to wear my hair I have so much of it so there's soo many ways to style it. I started on my make up doing the simple stuff then I thought of how I wanted to do my hair so I had to stop and start on my hair because it was going to take me a minute I started parting my hair and braiding it down I wanted it to be neat so I took my time after about 25 minutes I was done I braided half my hair down and left the rest out (picture above) I started back on my make up when we I got a text that Mia was outside so I told them come in I wasn't ready so they come in and sit and wait for me to finish up I lay my edges and wrap my hair up and put my shirt on and then I pick my hair spray it with a little oil and the unwrap my edges everyone is upstairs waiting for my reveal. I walk up the stairs talking about ready and it's silent when I step out I being to think they aren't in here so I look up and they all just staring at me. Dontae says okay I'll say what we're all thinking DAMN bitch you look good are you sure we're bringing you home tonight. I look at him and roll my eyes boy shut up and let's goo and thank you lol I tried to look nice and Mia goes well now I look like a bum compared to y'all both of y'all really wanted to show out huh. I laugh and grab my extra shoes and close the door behind us and lock up. Blaze stays about 5 minutes from the school but he's hosting the mash up at his family's house on the lake. So it's like a 30 minute drive they like damn you took too long we gonna have to park far away and walk I laugh and say okay but I look good. They laugh and we jam out till we get there the party is PACKED like I've never seen an entire school at one party we park and walk but don't have to walk far because someone was leaving to get drinks I prep myself going into this party with an open mind. We get to the door it's open and we walk in and I instantly picked up on the vibe and was ready to party I went straight to the table of drinks and grabbed two shots and tossed them back they all come in and join I go out and mingle the party I see a couple people I know from my old school then I see my ex Richard roll my eyes and keep going. As I'm making my way through the party I see blaze just smile and keep it going. the night goes on and I get drunk and continue to drink and drink and catch up with some people and I'm steady going my vision going in and out and I'm enjoying myself. I'm in the moment and I bump into someone and say sorry and she's like excuse you bitch and a guy says Kennedy stop being rude I hear that name and open my eyes I've lost the vibe it's Blaze Ex and I knew it was her who sent the picture. I forgot her name was Kennedy I black out and start swinging on her and honestly I connected a few good times and I don't remember anything after that. I woke up the next morning my hands were hurting and I was in a bed that didn't belong. I freaked out and jumped up and Sasha was next to me and Mia wasn't in sight and we wasn't in Sashas house I'm soo confused. I wake Sasha up and she's mad I'm like where are we and she rolls over chill out we're still at blaze house you blacked out and beat up some girl named Kennedy I look at her and ask wait I did what? Then she rolls over and says wait you don't remember you started swinging on her when she bumped into you ended up knocking her out she didn't get a chance to get a hit in. It was wild it took Blaze and some other guy to get you off of her I instantly got embarrassed when I heard Blaze name. I'm like oh god I got out of character in his house he's probably disappointed in me but at the same time it doesn't matter I'll get over it hopefully she's ok I was just sick of her shit. I pull myself together and go to find a bathroom I'm walking around quietly opening doors till I find it I get there and someone's in there I wait for them to come out it's a girl she runs past me really quick like she's scared I just brush it off and go use the bathroom and then go to find Mia and Dontae so we can leave. I walk down the stairs and find Mia on the couch and Donte on the floor. I wake them up and tell them let's go I'm ready to go home and they pop up like yea I bet you are but at least we didn't have to drive home thanks to you... so I'm like what she's like eh we'll talk about it in the car let's go I go tell Sasha come on we're leaving and she can go to sleep when we get to the house she gets up and drags to the car and goes right back to sleep so I look at Mia like soo what were you talking about she's like after you beat Drama Queen ass you were still swinging and blaze had to hold your ass down till you calmed down and he carried your ass to one of the rooms and told us we could stay and Sasha jumped in the bed saying dibs cause she had to watch over you that you had only gotten like that one time a long time ago I go oh damn well at least y'all didn't have to drive drunk and you got a couch 😂 Dontae smacks his lips like yea and I got the floor I should have walked home I'm tired of being disrespected. We head to my house and Mia drops us off I go in and go straight for the shower and tell Sasha change clothes no outside clothes in my bed. She says okay and goes down to my room I shower and go get in the bed it's been a long night and I need a moment I don't fall asleep I just relax and watch some videos. Tomorrow's Sunday then it's sadly back to school in a week. Me and Sasha go and get food from this wing place the first place that Adrian has taken me and I remembered after we got there and I was just hoping he wasn't there and he wasn't I go in the people greet me saying long time no see. I laugh and sit in a booth. We order wings and fries and talk about what we expect from this upcoming year and there's not much to expect just want it to be stress free we laugh and talk for a little while longer we pay the tab and leave. We're talking and decide we want to get get ice cream and there's this little ice cream shop that serves really good ice cream. We head over there we're going in and Sasha just stops and then I follow behind her like move and I look up to see where she's looking and I see Adrian I freeze for a moment and she says we should go I tell her no and go order the ice cream and sit at another booth. We're silent because at this moment I can't really talk. Because I'm staring a hole into the back of his head like it's weird because of just one kiss I haven't heard from him & we couldn't even end on speaking terms. He gets up to leave and pay for his ice cream and I look down like I wasn't looking at him but I looked to see if he was gone and we made quick eye contact and I looked away. For the few seconds I looked at him I didn't see anger anymore I just saw hurt and disappointment. I'm fine I'm holding up I got this tbh I'm not worried I've got a new school year waiting for me with bigger and better things. We continue to enjoy our ice cream in silence. We go to pay the tab and the lady says the guy that was in here already paid for our tab. I smile a little and Sashas like this is a good thing and I'm like not really he hasn't talked to me all summer it's been 2 almost 3 months. He was just trying to be nice and let me know he's not mad anymore I guess. We head to my house so she can get her stuff and go home crazy thing is when I'm with my bestfriend I don't worry about my phone I had a ton of text piled up I said I would check them after I got home and settled in once I got to the house I was picking up so I could sleep comfortably and Sasha goes what's this and I look up and she's holding an envelope and on the front it just says Jazmyne with a red heart. I have no idea what that is but I'll check it out later. Text me when you make it home and if you don't I'll show up. I continue to finish picking up my room then I head up and take my shower and get ready to see what's in the mystery envelope. I climb into bed and think who wrote me a letter? They have really pretty hand writing.
