Watching Bethany perform with Mark puts a smile on my face the whole time they perform. I never get to really watch Beth dance, since I'm always dancing with her, but let me tell you, it's great.

I can't keep my eyes off of her from the moment she steps onto the dance floor until she is in my arms after it is all over.

"That was amazing, Beth!" I say, hugging her after she and Mark receive their scores. They did pretty well and I'm so happy for them.

"Thank you, thank you. It was fun, but I can't wait to be back with you." She pulls away and looks into my eyes, giving me a small smile.

"Me too," I admit.

Sadie and I dance, and she rocks it. The night goes by quickly, and I am glad it's full of smiles after a weekend of drama and craziness.

The coming week is Dynamic Duo week. Beth and I get Lucy and Ricky and the salsa and I'm super excited. The producers want to do a cute video for the clips package, especially since I've been commenting on how Beth has been super tired lately. Not that I blame the poor girl, but this week, we decided to poke a little fun at her constant yawns and sleepiness. We will pretend Beth fell asleep during rehearsal one day and dreamed she was in the world of I Love Lucy. It's gonna be cute, and I'm excited to shoot it and see how it comes out.

Beth and I get to the theater on Tuesday morning and read the small "script" the producers came up with. I laugh as I read the "Derek will speak in a Cuban accent" note. Yeah, okay. We'll see how that goes.

We run through the lines a few times and then get up to run it on the "set" that we have created to be "Lucy's kitchen".

Beth sighs. "This is gonna be interesting."

Julianne comes running in frantically. "Sorry I'm late!" she says. I laugh and roll my eyes. My sister can never be on time. "Did you run through it yet?"

"Just the lines," I tell her.

"Well run it, I wanna see it!" Julianne wanted to be here as soon as she heard that this was happening. I roll my eyes. I love my sister, and I take her criticism to heart, but hopefully she doesn't make this any harder than it has to be.

"Okay..." I say, turning to Beth. "You ready?"

She nods. "Yup."

"Alright," I mutter. I step outside the "door" and we begin the short scene. After we run through it once, without any direction, Julianne gives us some notes.

"Okay, Derek, when you walk in, act like Bethany is your wife.... kiss her or something..."

My eyes widen, and I'm pretty sure Beth's do to. "Kiss her?"

Julianne rolls her eyes. "Yeah, on the cheek. Pretend like you're happy to see her after a long day at work."

Beth giggles awkwardly and I find myself letting out a laugh and a sigh of relief. "Okay..."

"And the part you say how she shouldn't have baked the cupcakes or whatever, dip her so it looks like you're gonna kiss her," Julianne instructs.

I scrunch my eyebrows and feel my heart racing even thinking about kissing Beth. "Dip her? What do you mean?"

Julianne huffs, but laughs slightly, getting up from her seat and walking over to us. "Like this... come here for a second, sweetheart," she motions to Beth to come to her. Then she puts one hand on Beth's neck and the other on her lower back and leans her backwards, supporting her weight. "You know?" Julianne turns to me to make sure I get what she's saying.

"Oh, okay, gotchu..." I say, sighing. Let's do this.

"Alright, let's run it," Julianne says as she walks back to her seat.
