"Conversation~"

Thinking thoughts

Author Note: Rin's game name is Rinne. So I will be using her game name. But Shiroe still call her as Rin, which players misunderstood that it is her nickname other than the close players in tea party members ^^

"Onii-chan!!!"

He saw his younger sister run towards him and gave him a tight hug.

The lights shone in from holes without window frames in the wall, illuminating the three of them better than any game engine could have managed.

Naotsugu looked pale, but he still laughed heartily and slapped his sheath.

"Yo, Shiro!"

"Naotsugu, eh... good morning."

Shiroe didn't know how to react when he heard Naotsugu's greeting and answered with a plain cold greeting.

Naotsugu Hasegawa is one of the few players that Shiroe had given his contact details and met with offline as well.

(Naotsugu XD)

(Naotsugu XD)

Shiroe let out a sigh of relief when he heard Naotsugu's voice.

"What's this situation? Did Elder Tales evolve to this level while I wasn't playing? To be honest, this is too real for me — this isn't possible with just improving the game in a normal way right? Is this a joke?"

Naotsugu pouted as he asked Shiroe. His cheerful and chatty voice sounded a bit depressed.

"This is nerve-wracking." Shiroe vaguely nodded and raised the magic staff in his hand.

"But Onii-chan, in a way, it is interesting!" Rin answered with sparkling eyes facing the 2 adults and let go of her hug with her brother.

"I will never understand Rin-hime's thought process" Naotsugu mumbled while Shiroe sweatdrop.

"What is the current situation? Tell me if you know anything, 'Black Heart Glasses'."

"I personally want to tell you, but I don't know anything."

Shiroe, Rinne and Naotsugu kicked away the shattered debris and sat down. Shiroe didn't have any information to explain the current situation.

"Firstly, this is clearly not a dream since I do not have this kimono in my real-world closet. Plus, I am definitely not wearing it while playing Elder Tales on my computer in my room."

"Yeah." Shiroe nodded and agreed to Rinne's comment.

"Have both of you seen your status screen?"

"I have... Rin?"

"I did and couldn't believe it... "

Since Elder Tales was a game, the strength, stamina and all sorts of abilities were represented in the form of numbers. All sorts of commands in the game were input through the menu. This also includes telepathy during the calling of your friends on the list (no matter how far you are).
