I really want to write a full chapter but have been busy with work for the past few months T_T Hence, rather than a last min rush written full chapter, I had decided to write a short chapter for you guys to enjoy ^^

Today should be the usual peaceful day in Akiba.
However, everyone (mainly the Adventurers) was preparing for the upcoming holiday celebration.
Halloween.
A day that declares the end of summer and the beginning of winter.
A day that humans disguise themselves with the same look as the visiting ghost and devils.
Over the years, it is a day that has become a festival of costumes and tricks.

While the Adventurers are preparing for Halloween, the People of Land are curious about what kind of celebration it would be. To them, this is foreign. They do not celebrate Halloween.
Hence, some of the Adventurers had kindly explained to the kids (People of Land) that everyone would be cosplaying themselves as ghosts, devils, or even other supernatural beings like fairies or zombies. Thus, the kids should also cosplay in their desire outfit and join the children cosplay competition. The winner would win a trophy and a card that valid for 1-month free sweets in any sweets shop.
When the children heard about the prizes, they had gone to pester their parents in hopes of joining the competition.
Needless to say, the majority of the shop owners (especially those who are selling food) had seen this as a business opportunity to earn more than usual. Hence, many Chefs are attempting to make their own Halloween limited edition dishes.
So, what about the guilds representing the Round Table Council are doing?
The Battle guilds (D.D.D., Honesty, West Wind Brigade and Black Sword Knights) are on their way to the Halloween dungeon event to collect the limited edition of Golden Pumpkins. It is a limited rare ingredient for the Chefs that it does not require a high level of cooking levels to cook it. Even for a level-1 Chef to use the Golden Pumpkins to cook their desire dishes, its taste and appearance would look like it is for the royals.
The Production Guilds (mainly Oceanic Systems and 8th District Shopping Center) are helping up with the setting up of stalls, storage warehouses, and many more.
The Rodrick Firm are doing their usual research but related to Halloween like sweets and costumes. Of course, this includes if the guild could replicate a similar product that is Halloween limited event gifts like the Golden Pumpkins.
The smaller guilds (Grandale and Radio Market) are seeking the other smaller guilds their assistance in making the Halloween festival a successful one.
Of course, Crescent Moon Alliance guild master, Maryele, who is the organizer of the Halloween event, is in her crazy mode. This includes Henrietta, who is planning several different kinds of costumes for Akatsuki, who is avoiding her at all costs.
While both Adventurers and People of Land are happily preparing for the Halloween festival, what are the players in the Log Horizon guild doing?
In the kitchen, Nyanta and Rinne are preparing several sweets and cookies for the festival's trick and treat event.

Minori and Isuzu are helping with the packaging of the sweets as these would be given to the kids, who will be attending for Trick or Treat event host by the Round Table Council.
Rundelhaus, Touya, and Naotsugu are still preparing their Halloween costume. More like, Rundelhaus is still brainstorming on what costumes he wishes to have even though the event is coming soon in 2 days.
The guild leader, Shiroe, is doing his usual desk work while Akatsuki is hiding in his room (even Shiroe does not know) for 2 reasons.
The first reason is that she is his shinobi.
The second reason is due to-

"Akatsuki-chan!!! I know that you are here~~~ Come out come out wherever you are~ I have prepared a lot of costumes for you to try~"
The player that invaded the peaceful day in the Log Horizon guild is Henrietta, who had activated her loli crazy mode.
"Henri-nee..."
Rinne sweatdrop while Nyanta says; "Ah~ Youth~".
Actually, everyone does not know where is Akatsuki since breakfast.
"Eh? Shrimp is not here." Naotsugu answered Henrietta truthfully, who is doing her usual spectacle pose and walking towards Naotsugu.
"No! Akatsuki-chan must be here! I have searched everywhere in Akiba. Starting from my guild, I have been searching for Akatsuki-chan everywhere! The town square and every single guildhall in Akiba as well! The only place left is here! The Log Horizon Guildhall! Now, tell me~ Where are you hiding Akatsuki-chan?~"
"Scary..." The 4 junior players mumbled while Rinne shakes her head with a sigh.
"What's going on?"
Just nice, Shiroe heard the commotion and went down to where everyone is. Of course, Akatsuki on hiding ninja mode.
"S-h-i-r-o-e-s-a-m-a~ Where is Akatsuki-chan?~"
"Onii-chan, Henri-nee is having a shortage of loli battery charge... No... More like shortage of Akatsuki battery charge..." Rinne said to Shiroe, who sweatdrop when he managed to get the gist of what is going on.
"I didn't see Akatsuki since morning. Maybe she went out for training?" Shiroe answered Henrietta, who is not convinced.
"That cannot be true! Akatsuki-chan is always nearby Shiroe-sama. Hence, she must be here! Akatsuki-chan~ Where are you~"
"This reminds me of a horror movie where the villain holding the weapon and calling out his target to come out of their hiding spot..." said Touya, which his sister Minori shush his comment.
"Based on my Akatsuki-chan's radar... Aha! She must be in your office room! Excuse me, Shiroe-sama."
"W-what? Wait! My office is currently very messy!"
