Present day.

Phone rings:
'I get my hair done, check my nails, baby how you do it'.
"Hello Unckey" I answers.
"Honeybun, I'm trying to do that FaceTime thingie." The caller responds.
"Oh OK, let's me push it this end." I reply.
I looks at my phones screen and find the FaceTime button.
"Hello, Hello, Aunty Kitty is that your ear?" I say.
The caller on the phone pulls the phone back and I can see a group of people who I have missed so much staring at the screen.
"Woo hoo, there is my pretty lady." Says another man.
"Uncle Knuckles! Wow, are your guys at the clubhouse?" I respond.
"Of course honeybun, we all wanted to watch the coverage live and you know that the clubhouse has the biggest tv." Uncle Roo responds.

I giggle. I had been catwalk modeling for 2 years now when I shot up to stardom all from a chance meeting in a Uni bar that I had just started working in, by world renowned photographer, Phillipe Von Dit. It was a total accident as he was at the school visiting his daughters and his disguise kind of made him look like a creeper. I had gone over to make sure that the girls were OK and to try and remove him from the bar when the girls explained who he was.

I only started doing basic modeling and then was snapped up by Vogue Magazine for working in the big shows like Fashion Week in Milan, which was where I am right now.

"What did you guys think?" I asked.
"Well I thought you looked like an angel." Roo said.
"I felt you looked so beautiful, my favorite was the wedding dress." Kitty said. Kitty was a sucker for a good wedding.

"Hay, what was the peacock looking one? It looked like a peacock and a wombat did the nasty and that was the product of their love." Xavier said.

I burst out laughing. "Trust you to remember the lingerie one ya dirty perv." I said as Xavier stuck his tongue out. "Eww, your like my little sister. But by chance, could you pocket a set." Xavier replied.
"Sure, what size is she?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Ah about this." Xavier said as he held up his palm. Everyone cracked up laughing.

As the crowd around the phone died down, I asked Roo and Kitty to move to a quiet place in the bar.

"What's up honeybun? Are we all still set for the graduation? I got the plane tickets but they are only one way?" Uncle Roo said. "I think I might had buggered up the email as I could not find the return tickets?"

"Yes, because I have a surprise for you both." I said as I took in a deep breath to prepare myself for the surprise that I had in store to tell them." I only booked one way cause — I'm coming home and you guys are driving back with me!"

Kitty let out a scream and Roo started to tear up.
"OMG. My baby is coming home." Kitty kept yelling out. I could hear everyone cheering in the background.

"OMG honeybun, you have made me the happiest man in the world." Roo said. He may have been a tough biker but he had a soft side when it came to Kitty and Mia.

"I know unckey, I just can't wait to be back. I've even lined up a job, might as well put my degree to use." I said.

We continued to work through the logistics before I had to go and get ready for the launch after party.

As I sat in the makeup chair, I thought about all the things I had missed at home. It didn't take long for my mind to drift back to Ryker, which made me feel a twinge of pain in my heart. As much as I had avoided going home for so long, I had decided that I had been away long enough and that it wasn't fair that I had to miss out on my family because of him.

He had never asked me stay away, he just hurt me so bad that I didn't want to be constantly reminded each time I saw him. That was now a thing of the past, I was about to graduate as a child psychologist and now that I had made a name for myself in the modelling world, I could relax a little and focus on my new career.

"Mia, they are ready for you." The assistant said as she popped her head in the room.
"Thank you." I replied.

I was waiting for the make-up artist to give her final ok. I always put my faith in the teams judgement and made sure that I always treated everyone with respect and kindness. This was how my Uncle and Aunt had brought me up. Aunty Kitty used to say that 'You treat everyone as how you want them to treat you'. This had then grown into me being one of the most favoured models on the circuit.

"You are ready Mia. Go and have an amazing time." Said Ellen my make-up artist. "I will be at your house on Friday morning at 9am, don't sleep in." She added. I smiled while I is looking in the mirror.

"OMG Ellen, I think you have outdone yourself this time." I said as she hugged Ellen and made her way out of the room.

There was only a short walk to the exit where all the vehicles were awaiting to whisk us away to the launch party. As I reached the first door and looked over, I saw my manager Eddie.

"Are we ready to shine?"  said Eddie.
"I'm ready to dazzle baby!" I said as I twirled around in my Tom Ford diamond dress.

Eddie chuckled and ushered the guards to hold the door open as they exited the building to the awaiting flashes of the paparazzi.

After a big day Roo pulled up at my apartment and jumped out to start rummaging around in the trunk. Kitty and I headed into the building and held the door while Roo brought in their bags.

I can not believe that today I graduated, today is my 3rd last night in Sydney and tomorrow we start the packing so that the truck can pick up my gear on Monday and we begin the journey back home, back to Redland Bay. I can not wait to see everyone, I can not wait to start my new career and I can not wait to move on in my life.

"So I think I've packed everything we should need to get your stuff sorted and I brought some tools in case we need to fix anything so that you get your bond back." Roo said.

"You always think of everything Unckey." I said as I kissed him on the forehead. I call up the local Chinese shop and organise for some takeaway to be delivered. This is going to be a great but emotional couple of days.
