We pull up at the Outreach Centre and I go ahead and explain to the parents what happened. Lucky for me, all the kids were so excited about what happened, they had no idea about how bad the situation could have been.

Seth taps me on the shoulder "The police are here to take a statement. They are talking to Knuckles at the moment but they want to talk to you aswell." I nod and finish up making sure that all the parents have picked up the kids and wave by goodbye.

"Mia." I turn to hear SGT Cheung coming over to me. I look past him and I see Ryker stalking towards us.

"Hello SGT Cheung, was that you in the car when we were on the service road?" I say.

"Yes, I was driving. Had the new guy with me. Please Mia, call me David. Now, are you OK?" David says as he place both his hands on each of my arms and rubs them up and down in a comforting movement.

"She is fine!" Ryker says as he comes to stand beside me. I can tell that he is pissed about the fact that David is touching me and I can see his fists start to ball up. He puts his arm around my waist as if to give David the idea that I am his.

"I'm fine David and I don't know what much I can tell you about it all, it happened so quick." I reply.

"Just tell me whatever comes to mind. You can always contact me if you remember anything later." David replies.

"Well all I remember is we had pulled off the highway and were coming past the new servo when Knuckles started swearing and I looked up to see the Red Ute nearly hitting the drivers side of the bus. We skidded towards the ditch and then once we stopped, I checked everyone and then heard Knuckles get off and start yelling at the people in the Ute. When I got off the bus, I headed to Knuckles and that's when the passenger rolled their window down and start to shoot at us.' I started giggling and both the men were just staring at me.

"Lucky they were not great shots as none of us were hurt. Then there was the sirens from you and they just took off up the service road." I finished.

"Thank you for this Mia. I think we have enough for today. I'll get out the Utes details and we will keep you guys posted on it." David says as his phone rings and he excuses himself.

Xavier comes over to us as Ryker tightens his arm around my waist. "Knuckles said there is more to this." I interrupt Xavier before he continues as I don't want David to hear our conversation "Not here, lets head back to the clubhouse." I give Xavier a quick pointed glare towards David. Xavier nods and makes his way to his bike.

David comes back over and says "Looks like we might have a lead on the Ute. Mia, if you think of anything else," he pulls a card out of his wallet and flips it over to write something on it. "Here is my card and this is my mobile number. Just call me." He goes to hand me the card but Ryker beats me to it as he swiftly takes the card and pops it into his pocket.

David heads back to his police car while I focus on what gear I have left to put away.

"I can drive your car if you want me too." Ryker says.
"It's OK, I walked today." I reply.
"Ok, well then once your done, I'll take you on the bike to the clubhouse. Xavier is most probably wanting to see you straight away." He replies.
"Are you sure?" I ask.

Riding on the back of a members bike is a huge thing, it means that you, in a sense, belong to them and they want everyone to know. Like a show of ownership so that the other club members know that they need to stay away from their property. I really hate the idea of being known as 'property' but it does have a little appeal in the downstairs department.

"Of course." Ryker replies as we head to the centre.

I lock away the gear we took and reset the alarm as we exit the doors. Ryker pulls out my old helmet and I have a flashback to the last time that I rode on the back of his bike.

Flashback.
It was the afternoon before I left for University. Ryker wanted to take me somewhere and I knew that everyone was preparing for a surprise going away party, Carrie was terrible at trying to keep a secret.

We headed on his bike to Wellington Point, its a small peninsula where when the tide is out you can walk over on a sandbar to a small island.  We used to like going there because the water was always clear and you could walk to the other side of the island and just look out over the water, seeing all the boats in the harbor.

When we got to the island, Ryker pulled off his backpack and started pulling out food, drinks and a blanket. We sat down while he set up the feast. I was not fully paying attention to him while I was feeding myself grapes as he moved the container that I was eating out of my reach and when I looked over at him, he was knelt next to me with a small ring box in his hands.

"Mia Salvatore, I've loved you from the day I met you. You are my world, my everything. I will love you forever baby. Will you marry me?" I literally cried at that moment.

"Are you OK Mia?" Ryker says as I snap back to reality. I don't realize but I am clasping my necklace in my fingers through my shirt, mainly the ring that is on my necklace. I drop it and focus back on him.

"I'm fine, just going over in my head if I did everything." I lie as I go to hop on his bike behind him. I put my hand towards the edges of his waist as he feels different, probably because he has bulked out since I last saw him, so I try my best to find a seating that is comfortable but he pulls my arms in tighter to him which has me literally flush to his back. He then starts the bike and roars off out of the carpark.

As we speed off down the street, I start to get my bearings and loosen my grip on him a little. I think Ryker notices this as he speeds the bike up a little which makes me jolt and hold on tighter. "Bastard" I mumble. I can feel his chuckling ripple through his back.

We hit the main road and I put my head up, away from his back so that I can feel the wind on my face. The scenery is flying by and just looks like a mash up of colours. I take one hand away and let my arm sway in the wind. I use it to push myself back a little so that I can enjoy the freedom of the ride. I never realised how much I have missed being on the back of his bike.
