Going Home.

Chapter 24

Blaze is out the door and heading to his bike before I can even register what Ariel has said in the message.

I assumed that Ariel must had went home so I ring Carrie, she would be closer to Ariels place then we are and Slater should be there by now as he was going home to help her pack some gear to come back for lockdown.

"Mia, I can't talk much but I will be there soon. " Carrie says. I can hear her shuffling gear around while she talks.

"Carrie, Something is wrong at Ariels. Can you and Slater head over there now." I get out before she can hang up on me.

"What do you mean, what is wrong with Ariel?" Carrie shouts through the phone. She must have moved the phone away from her mouth as she starts to shout for Slater.

"We are not sure but she left me a voice message that David was there. Blaze is on his way there but you guys are closer." I said. Ryker is trying to get me to leave the kitchen and head to the car.

"I am going to loose you as my phone is still quite flat. We are on our way." I end the call as I can't wait any longer and I follow Ryker to the car.

We pull up at her place and I see that Blaze has already gone in with Slater as Carrie is out the frount on the step, talking to someone on the phone.

"She's not here." Blaze storms out of the door and heads to his bike.

"Blaze stop." I call to him as he makes his way back to his bike.

"She's not fucking here Mia." Blaze shouts. "I need to head to the centre, what if she went there?"

"And what will you? What will taking off on your bike do? We have no idea where she is or what he has done with her. It's perfect in there, no mess, not even a scuffle of anything." Blaze responds as he slumps down on the path.

"Was the door locked when you got here?"Slater asked as he walked out.

"Yes, I had to bust the handle to get in." Blaze responds.

"The place looks untouched, so that means that she was not taken from inside her place." Slater replies.

"What the fuck does that have to do with this?" Blaze snaps.

"It means that we are not in the right place." Slater replies as he pulls out his phone and starts to make a call.

"Xavier, we have a issue. We think Ariel has been taken." There is a pause as he listens to whatever Xavier is saying. "I don't know, I'll pass you to Mia."

Slater passes me his phone. I'm watching Ryker try and pacify Blaze. Blaze looks like he is about to tear up whatever he can find.

"Mia, tell me what happened." Xavier says.

"There is not much to tell. We noticed that Ariel was missing, my phone was flat and then when I plugged it in I got a voice message from her that David was here"

"Here, as in at her place?" Xavier asked.

"No, she just said that David was here. We all assumed she was at her place but now we don't know where." I reply.

"And you checked the room she was in?" He asked.

"Yes, it was empty. That why I assumed she was here cause I thought that she must had come home to get some gear." I'm shaking now as I can not drum up one single idea where she would go. She didn't know about about the outreach centre yet but I doubted she would just go there when it is the weekend.

"Get everyone to come back to the compound. I will be there soon, I'm just getting mum and her stuff." Xavier replies and hangs up.

I turn towards the groups as they are all huddled around Blaze.

"Xavier said that we need to all head back to the club and he will be there soon." I said as I gave Slater back his phone.

"FUCK THAT, she is could be hurt, she could be anywhere. I'm not going back there without her!" Blaze roared. Ryker grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"The Prez gave us an order and we follow the Prez brother." Taker said. He held Blazes arm firmly as if to get his point across.

Blaze looked defeated. He shook off Rykers hand and went to his bike.

"I will meet you there Brother." Was all he said as he started his bike and took off down the road.

I headed to the car, while Ryker and Slater tried to fix Ariels door so that it would at least close.

I was just staring out of the windscreen when Ryker got back into the car.

"It's going to be OK Mia, we will find her." Ryker soothed as he rubbed his hand across my shoulder.

I lean my head away as his finger trace across my collarbone and up my neck. I feel the car move slightly and then feel his lips leaving kisses on my collar. I turn my head towards him and pull his head up so that our lips meet. I capture his lips and I reach around his head and pull him in closer.

I feel his hands running down my arms and to my waist. He must have reached for my seatbelt as I hear it click. My brain freezes and I feel myself start to pull away.

"Ryker, you need to stop. We need to get back." I say as I pull back into my seat and put my belt back on.

Ryker nods and straightens back into his seat. He starts the car. As we drive towards the compound and I start to feel guilty for what we were doing.

"Ariel will be OK, stop worrying. We will find her and take care of that arsehole." Ryker says. He sneaks a glance my way.

"I know, I know, I am just scared. I know what it felt like when Eric took me. Ariel would be going out of her mind." I feel my words wobble as they come out.

Ryker places his hand on my thigh and rub gently. I gave him a small smile and then went back to looking out the window, thinking about where Ariel possibly could of been when she ran into David.
