Going Home.

Chpater 27

I wake up with the sun beating in the window and shinning straight into my eyes. I have no idea what time it is but my brain starts to catch up with my body.

"Ariel" I say out loud as I try to get up but Ryker had me pretty well pinned down to the mattress. I try to push his arms off me but the more I try, the harder he holds me.

Jae lets out a soft cry and Ryker is awake in an instance.

"That would be right, I try to move you and you don't budge, but one sound from Jae and your up and ready." I start to laugh as I realise that Ryker is butt naked and when I said 'up and ready', of course my eyes had to trail down below his waist.

He picks up Jae and rocks him in his arms, whispering to him to get him to fall back to sleep. I get off the bed and pull on my clothes while heading to the door.

"It's so early, maybe we should wait until Blaze tells us that she is awake?" Ryker says. I just can't concentrate and I just need to see that she is ok.

"I will sit with her then, I just need to see her for myself." I say as I grab my shoes and head out the door.

I make my way down the corridor to the spare room that Ariel usually uses when she stays here but as I round the corner, the room is open and no one is there.

Doc Daniels is coming down the hallway towards me. He looks like he must had slept here the night as his clothes are ruffled and he seems to be in search of something.

"Hello Doc, are you ok?" I ask. He looked like he was still waiting up as head pops up, noticing me.

"Oh hello Mia, I didn't see you there." Doc says.

"How is Ariel?" I ask as he moves towards me.

"She has just woken up, Xavier and Blaze are with her at the moment but I am sure that she will be happy to see you." He pats me on the back and points towards another room at the end of the side hall that he has coming from.

I thank him and make my way to the room.

"Believe all you want Xavier, that's what he said and I heard him talking to someone who was watching you all." It was Ariel's voice that I could hear as I opened the door.

Both the boys looked up at me as I entered the room. Ariel grinned and jumped up from the bed. Blaze moved to grab her as she was a bit wobbly when she got on her feet.

Her face is bruised and there are two butterfly bandages on her forehead but I can see that she is is not freaking out, if anything I think she is more pissed at the fact that the boys are not taking what she is saying to them as serious.

"Take it easy love, Doc said you need to rest." Blaze interrupts our embrace. I glare at him "It's not like we are going dancing Blaze, give us a minute."

"Come on Blaze, we need to go and do some work. Lets leave the girls." Xavier says as he stands and heads to the door.

Blaze looks between Ariel and Xavier and I can see that he must be having an internal battle on what he should do. He sighs and makes his way out of the room.

"Call me if you need anything." He says as he closes the door behind him.

Ariel gets back onto the bed and sits herself up on the heardboard.
