The smell was awful, the sight was sickening, the fact of the matter was that a teenage girl had murdered her family in a gruesome manner.

The three piles of skin had blood seeping from every hole, some of them had their innards starting to spill out as well.

Mount Lady held her hand to her mouth, while Kamui couldn't keep it down and ran to the sink, dipping his head into it.

"I shouldn't have let her run away... I'm going back after her." I said to her as I turned to head back out.

Edgeshot grabbed my arm, "No, leave her. She's as bad as, perhaps worse, than the League of Villains. And we've been told to keep your class away from them at all costs."

"But I can find her and take her down before she does it to someone else! She's not so dangerous I'll die!" I rebutted.

"Alex-kun..." Mount Lady started as she walked over to me and put a hand on my shoulder. "You can't win all of them first try, trust me...

It's frustrating, but if you chase after her now, we can't keep up and you could very well die. We don't know the extent of her powers.

She overwhelmed all three of her family members, and they had decent quirks to be able to defend themselves. We should call it a day. May we should bring you to a counsellor?"

I made no effort to get away from them, as to be honest, I was in no state of mind to fight strategically, and fighting her was a rather frightening prospect.

"Why would I need counselling? Did I do something wrong?" I asked, a little worried I'd somehow slipped up without realising.

"No, no, not at all." Edgeshot affirmed. "You've been outstanding. However, it's customary that the first time you see... Death... You talk to a counsellor so that you can get the help you need to cope.

We won't force you if you don't want to, but I would strongly recommend you do. I don't know any heroes who haven't, and then went on to lead normal lives."

I shrugged and nodded, trying not to make a big deal out of it, even though it had shaken me up a lot. I agreed to meet someone immediately, and they kindly brought me there and Mount Lady stayed with me.

On the way, I texted Tsu and told her I'd be a little while, but that I would be on my way home soon. At first, talking to the counsellor didn't seem that influential, but I did feel better after.

"You should go home now and get some rest." Kamui said. "You've had... A big day. All that's left now is boring paperwork, which I'm sure you're not up for.

Don't worry, we'll teach you all about paperwork another day." He winked at me and gave me a thumbs up.

I cracked a slight smirk, "Thanks, I look forward to it. I'll see you all soon, I should be in tomorrow."

They all said their goodbyes to me as I went home, still not really feeling much of an impact. It was weird, I didn't really feel anything. I wasn't sure what to look forward to.

I didn't know how to react to anything that had happened. My dad had died and I saw three bodies, absolutely butchered. Yet, I just felt empty.

I walked down the pathway to our dorms, and I noticed something seemed odd. There were no lights on inside, it was dark.

There didn't seem to be any sign of life either. How curious... I opened the front door, and the voices of forty people shouted out, "Surprise!"

My eyes widened as I jumped backwards, confetti floating towards me as party poppers had been popped. I stood there, motionless, blinking a few times.
