" Young girl, what's about to happen now is a result of the Son of Darkness atop this hill. He is the one to blame. " Amaraito said, as he pulled back his arm to try to impale Kirishima.
Kirishima had already activated Red Riot: Unbreakable and was ready to take the hit. If he tried to dodge, the girl would take the hit.
When Amaraito struck him, Kirishima grabbed ahold of his arm and pushed as much as he could, the light spear slowly digging into his thick skin. His feet dug into the ground as he started to get pushed backwards, almost effortlessly.
Amaraito wasn't even putting much effort into his pressuring attack, he was letting the light do all the work, similar to how Kirakiri did against me. I never learnt if that was the case, but in passing, Kirakiri may have said that around Amaraito, which is why he seemed to be so much stronger than before.
Haru Hara wasn't a particularly bright man, ironically, considering the amount of foolish things he did. But one thing's for sure, he had an incredible quirk. Kirishima shouted out as the spear started to poke through his chest.
Iida used Recipro Burst to run in an launch towards Amaraito, kicking him in the chest to knock him back from Kirishima, who was clearly struggling. He then carried Kirishima and the girl further away.
" Hey, what did you do that for? I had it. " Kirishima said weakly, as he started to soften his body, showing that he was bleeding badly from the chest wound he received.
" Nonsense, we need to get you to a hospital! Do you still have your phone? " Iida asked.
He shook his head, " No, I left it at home since everyone else was here. "
" I have a phone! " The girl, who was a couple of years younger than us, said quickly.
She got it out of her pocket and immediately dialed 119 to get an ambulance for Kirishima. He sighed in defeat and then groaned, clutching his chest.
The girl then asked, before Iida sped off, how many people were injured. " Not sure yet, this fight has only just started. We're going to need backup! "
Despite the fact that there were almost twenty against one, Amaraito was certainly putting up a fight. Bakugou was down, Kirishima was down, even Midoriya seemed to be down.
Yaoyorozu, Jirou, Kaminari, Uraraka, Hagakure, Iida, Kota, Sero, Mineta, Shinsou, Tokage, Mina, and Aoyama were getting civilians to safety, while Sato, Shoji, and Ojiro focused on delaying Amaraito as long as possible before backup arrived, or until Bakugou or Midoriya could fight again.
Tokoyami was still there, but afraid. Should he help civilians? No, that would just draw Amaraito to them. Should he fight? No, light beats dark in the best of circumstances, but this is a man who manipulates light! Should he run and lead Amaraito away...?
" You're not going to beat me this time Amaraito! " Sato shouted, getting ready to attack.
" Is that so? Funny you should say that, considering you were nothing to me during our last encounter. I'm stronger now than I was then, so what makes you think you can beat me this time? " Amaraito jeered.
Sato hesitated for a moment before reaching into his pocket and taking our a packet of sugar. " Because my friend is in danger, and specifically because I failed to protect them last time. I won't lose twice. "
Ojiro and Shoji stood beside him at either side. Each of them were strong in physical combat, but bad at ranged. Amaraito was good at ranged combat, but bad at physical. However, his attacks seemed to be relying solely on close quarters at the moment.
Perhaps just to intimidate them, Amaraito started absorbing enough light to pitch the area several meters around him into darkness. It was as if he was hooked up to the light by several yellow tubes as he had several tendrils flowing towards him.
