The High School Escapades!

Preparations

"Things will be alright. You can talk to me."

"No they won't, and no I can't."

This was just a little bit of the conversation between Felix, Ozzy, and the school counselor.

Ozzy knew Ms. Cooper, and he knew she meant well. Felix, on the other hand, wasn't so quick to trust her.

Especially with her being a member of the school staff.

"Listen, Felix, I know you miss your brother, but there's nothing we can do about it now."

"You would say that. Your boss took him."

She sighed. "No, he didn't. I don't know why you don't trust anyone here, but I assure you, we have your best interests at heart."

"I saw him."

She looked to Ozzy for help.

He nodded. "Felix, you at least have to keep taking care of yourself. You've changed, drastically, and-"

"Can we talk about this without," he glared at the counselor, pure hatred in his eyes, "her here?"

Ozzy looked to her. "Can we go?"

She nodded, and they left the office.

Back at the clubroom, Lily was sitting on the couch, her and Kid comforting each other about her brother's disappearance, or at least attempting to. Felix sat down beside them, leaning on the arm of the couch and crossing his arms. He looked over the arm, staring at nothing.

Cindy popped up from behind the couch. "Are you crying?"

"No," he mumbled, like a liar.

Kid sat up. "We have to do something."

Felix sank further into the couch, having been informed several times by his mother, and especially his father, that this would be impossible.

He heard a quiet, cute ahem and looked up. There was Cindy, calling The Order to attention.

"Alright, listen up, you... people. I'm gathering my posse, because we are marching right down into that basement lab and getting Rebecca's girlfriend and Felix and Lily's brothers back!" She turned to Penny. "So, how 'bout it? You gonna rejoin the squad?"

There was a collective gasp. Kid sprang up from his seat. "Woah, Penny, you were in Cindy's squad?"

She looked down with a nervous grin. "Yeah..."

Tiffany, despite being focused on the phone in her hand and the lollipop in her mouth, was paying attention, and looked up to smile at Penny. "Welcome back, bitch."

Rebecca hugged her. "We're glad you're back!"

Penny hummed thoughtfully. "It'll probably be temporary." She smiled. "But I am glad to be back with you guys for the moment!"

And with that, the preparations for the rescue began.
