It was hell, being trapped in his own mind, knowing that there was nothing he could do to stop this version of himself from doing whatever it wanted to do.
He knew what it was doing, he could see what it saw, feel what it felt, but he couldn't control it. It was going on about it's insane plan, trying to convince the other members. It was also, Kid noticed, holding Ted very close to it.
He hoped nothing bad would come from that.
It stretched, putting it's hands behind it's head. "Well, I'm stuffed." It put it's arm back around Ted. "You wanna hang out during the break?" it asked with a wink.
Ted caught the implication, and grinned at it. With that, it steered him off to the club room.
This couldn't be happening.
It closed and, Kid couldn't help but notice, locked the club room's door (this thing wasn't going to take no for an answer, he realized) and sat down on the couch with Ted, who had just remembered the big problem here.
"Wait, we can't... this isn't you."
Kid wished he could've said that sooner.
It chuckled. "What do you mean? I'm still the same person I've always been, just a bit more... passionate."
Kid wished he could slap it for being such a goddamn liar.
Ted shifted. "It's... I dunno. I'm kind of uncomfortable."
It lifted an eyebrow. "Really? You seemed fine just a minute ago."
"I... I changed my mind."
It chuckled, this time dark and dripping with something Kid didn't know how to describe. "You can't change your mind now, Theo. This is our club- no, our rebellion. This is The Order of Chaos, and right now, you have to prove your loyalty."
He sputtered. "Prove my loyalty? I'm the fifth one to join!"
"And the others will face trials as well. I have plans, Theo. Big plans. I need to know if I can trust every single person in this group. You understand, don't you, Theodore?"
It was calling him by his full name to get him to trust it.
Ted sighed. "I just... I dunno. I don't really want to do this right now."
"And I get that! I really do! But, y'know, you've kinda been leading me on this whole time..."
Oh, it was gonna pull the "leading me on" shit was it?
Ted scooted away from it, only to be pulled back by the shoulder. "C'mon, hon. You don't wanna hurt my feelings, do you?"
It's pulling the "cute nickname" card it's pulling the "my feelings" card it's pulling out all the cards.

Agent B: we're boned
Felix: Where is Ted what the hell is that thing doing to him
Agent C: yo Felix
Agent C: emo kid's looking for you
Felix: shit
Felix: Okay, since Kid is gone, we have to elect a new leader. I vote Billy.
Agent B: woah okay
Agent L: Why can't we add Nugget?
Felix has added Nugget
Nugget: Nugget is present!
Nugget: What did Nugget miss? Why is Nugget's friend blocked?
Agent B: yeah so uh
Agent B: he's fucking brainwashed
Nugget: Nugget sees.
Nugget: The rich boy should probably find a hiding place. The angry genderless child is on the hunt.
Felix: Yeah, I was getting to that.
Nugget: Rich boy is welcome to stay in the Nugget Cave if he desires.
Felix: No, it's fine.
There was no way he was going back in the Nugget Cave.
