Alessia p.o.v

My mom came upstairs to my room while I was listening to music. I got up and took off my headphones and she sat right on my bed.

Mom: "We need to talk."

Alessia: "About what?"

Mom: "Shawn..."

I became annoyed.

Alessia: "Mom..."

Mom: "Me and your dad talked and we figured it was best for you and Shawn to break up.."

Alessia: "W-what? Why?"

Mom: "You two spend too much time together and it bothers us. It feels like you've forgotten about your own family."

Alessia: "I told you guys many times that I haven't forgotten about you guys. I haven't seen Shawn for like almost 2 weeks now."

Mom: "Yea but i bet you text him..."

Alessia: "Sometimes."

Mom: "You don't see that your with Shawn often..."

Alessia: "Instead of you guys worrying, why can't u guys just be happy for me?"

Mom: "We are, but think about your career."

Alessia: "I haven't forgotten about my fans and stuff that I have to do, I know that I'm in a relationship now but I still care about you guys. I never forgot about who I care about."

Mom: "It doesn't seem like it..."

Alessia: (sighs) "Why are u like this?"

Mom: "It's what's best for you.."

Alessia: "You know i'm happy with Shawn..."

Mom: "I know, but then the next thing you know, he leaves you."

Alessia: "If he leaves me, then that's gonna be your fault because this entire time, you were complaining about how often I spend with Shawn than you guys, when he is literally my boyfriend. Were your parents ever like this when you spent time with dad?"

Mom: "That's not gonna be my fault.."

Alessia: "Yes it will..."

 Mom: "It's not gonna be.."

Alessia: "Mom, you can't separate us."

Mom: "Yes i can."

Alessia: "If you're gonna break Shawn up, then i'm leaving.."

Mom: "You're not going anywhere.."

Alessia: "Yes I am, i'm tired of you guys.."

I walked out of my room and didn't say no words to anyone. I couldn't believe my mom was gonna do this but I wasn't gonna let her do it. I'm not letting my relationship with Shawn end all because of my mom's stupid reasons.
