~Wedding Day~

I woke up the next day and I was smiling. Today was finally the day. I was going to be Mrs. Mendes. I started admiring my ring as I was thinking about it. I was starting to feel very nervous about it but I was happy. I knew I had to get ready quickly and head to the hall for me to get ready because someone was doing my makeup for me and my hair and I had to be there fast. I took a quick shower and got changed and then headed to the place. When I got to the changing area, I was getting my hair and makeup done first. A lot of people came and was socializing with others. Shawn's sister Aaliyah was there, with his mom, and his dad. And my mom, my dad, Dario, Corina, and all of my family was there. After my hair and makeup was done, my mom walked in with my dad. And I smiled.

My mom and my dad started to get emotional.

Mom: "Oh my god, Alessia. You are so beautiful!"

Alessia: "Thank you."

Dad: "I can't believe our daughter's getting married. You look just like your mother."

My tears started to fall lightly on my cheeks.

Alessia: "You guys are gonna make me cry."

Mom: "We're sorry."

Dressup artist: "Hey, no smudging the makeup please."

Alessia: "Sorry."

Dressup artist: "Okay, time for the dress!"

Mom: "Whoo!"

When I was done putting on my dress, I looked at myself in the mirror a couple of times. This was really it. The music started playing and everyone got up and faced the door because it was time for me to walk down the aisle. My dad walked me to Shawn and Shawn was smiling as he saw me. When I stood right in front of him, he was still smiling.

Shawn: "You look absolutely beautiful."

Alessia: "Thank you so much."

The music stopped and everyone sat down.

Marriage officiant: "We are here to celebrate the marriage of Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes. Shawn Mendes, do you take Alessia Cara to be your wife?"

Shawn: "I do."

I smiled.

Marriage officiant: Alessia Cara, do you take Shawn Mendes to be your husband?"

Alessia: "I do." 

Shawn: "To have and hold from this day forward.."

Alessia: "For better or for worse.."

Shawn: "For richer.."

Alessia: "For poorer.."

Shawn: "In sickness and In health.."

Alessia: "To love and cherish.."

Shawn: "From this day forward.."

Alessia: "Until death do us apart.."

Marriage officiant: "I now pronounce you two husband and wife, you may kiss."

And with that, we kissed happily. Everyone got from their seats and clapped and cheered. My mom clapped and Shawn's mom was emotional. After that, me and Shawn held hands as we walked back. After the toast and the dinner, me and Shawn danced together and spoke for a couple of minutes.

Shawn: "So how does it feel to be Mrs. Mendes?"

Alessia: "It feels amazing, my love."

Shawn: "I'm so happy that I can finally call you my wife."

Alessia: "Me too."

Shawn: "Are you ready for our honeymoon?'

Alessia: "Where are we going? You've never told me."

Shawn: "We are going to Hawaii."

Alessia: "NO WAY! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"

Shawn: "Yup!"

Alessia: "OMG AHHH! I'M SO EXCITED!"

He laughed.

Alessia: "I love you so much."

Shawn: "I love you too."

And we kissed. After all that wedding fun, it was time for our honeymoon. I got changed and wore another dress and Shawn wore a shirt and pants. We said our goodbyes to our parents and we took a taxi to the airport and then we took our flight to Hawaii. It took us about 2 hours to get there. And when we got to our hotel, our bedroom looked so beautiful. 

Alessia: "This place is so beautiful.."

Shawn: "I know right? Hawaii has the best hotels.."

I walked in to check out the view and there was a nice breeze as I was looking around. It was like a paradise. Shawn smiled and walked to me and hugged me as he was behind me. And as he did it, he started to kiss me slowly. 

Shawn: "What do you wanna do?"

Alessia: "Right now, I feel like checking out the hot tub in the pool area.."

Shawn: "Anything that my girl's heart desires..."

Alessia: "Aww haha."

Shawn: "Let's do it."

Me and Shawn got ready and we headed to the hot tub. We were both relaxing in there because the hot tub was so warm that I could just fall asleep in there. Me and Shawn splashed and had lots of fun in the hot tub and after all hot tub relax time, we both took showers and got ready to go to sleep. We were laughing together as we cuddled each other in the bed.

Shawn: "That hot tub was amazing, wasn't it?"

Alessia: "It sure was, can we check out the spa tomorrow before we leave?"

Shawn: "Anything for you."

Alessia: "I love you."

Shawn: "I love you too."

Shawn was the most sweetest guy in the world. I was so happy that I'm his. I don't know what I did to deserve him but i'm thankful that he's in my life. He's my other half. We both fell asleep peacefully as we were still cuddling each other.
