~Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara The Tour: Day 2~

When we arrived in Washington the next day, the same reaction happened again. I vomited in the washroom twice. When it happened, I started to feel like I wanted to faint. Shawn saw how I was reacting and he wasn't happy at all.

Shawn: "Alessia, I don't think you can perform with you feeling like this."

Alessia: "Shawn, don't worry..."

Shawn: "I have to worry, I can't be letting you act like this. Yesterday, you vomited and today you vomited twice. You have to sit out."

Alessia: "I told you, i'm fine...it's just morning sickness.."

Shawn: "You said it might have been something you ate yesterday and now you're saying it's morning sickness?"

Alessia: "SHAWN, stop worrying. I told you it's nothing serious.."

Shawn: "If this happens again, i'm gonna have to call the doctor.."

Alessia: "Fine, but i told you i'm okay.."

As soon as I ate and drank something, I got my energy back and was feeling a little better. I was talking with Liv and I spoke with my parents to know how they were doing and all that family related stuff. I was also really happy that my parents and my brother were gonna join us on tour soon. I was already missing my parents and I've only been on tour for a day now- well let's say 2 days because this day was already ending. 

After I was done performing, I was feeling tired. Way too tired then i've ever been. My headache was getting much worse. Olivia saw how I was acting and she was calling me and asking me if i was okay. And then, my eyesight was blurry. I couldn't see anything. My vision was blurry for about 5 minutes. And just like that, I fainted right on the floor. 

Olivia: "ALESSIA!"

Olivia tried waking me up but I didn't wake up.

Olivia: "SOMEONE HELP!!"

Everyone backstage circled around and Eric dialed 911. I immediately rushed to the hospital. And because of what happened to me backstage, Shawn's show was put on hold. Olivia and the others waited for me in the hall. But luckily when I got to the hospital, I was awake. And thankfully, I was okay. And there was something else. Shawn called in the room so he could know what was going on. 

Shawn: "Is everything okay, doc?"

Doctor: "Yes, everything's okay. And there's also good news."

Shawn: "Oh, what is it?"

Doctor: "Congratulations, Alessia is 3 months pregnant."

I smiled.

Shawn: "WOW! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! THIS IS AMAZING!"

Alessia: "I know, I can't believe it either. I'm so excited.."

Me and Shawn were so relieved that I was healthy and we were having a baby. I've always been wanting to be a mom for such a long time, this was the best news ever. After having a talk with doctor about our next appointment, we came out as we smiled.

Olivia: "WAIT, WHAT DID I MISS?! WHAT'S THE GOOD NEWS?!"

Alessia: "Guess who's 3 months pregnant?!"

Olivia: "NO WAY- ARE YOU JOKING?!"

Alessia: "I'm not joking! I'm actually 3 months pregnant!"

Olivia: "OMG! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!"

Eric: "Wow, this is incredible!"

Me and the crew headed back to the tour bus. Shawn's show that was put on hold had to end but we put an extra day to stay in Washington to make it up to everyone. Shawn posted a video on Instagram on updates of what happened. 

Shawn's video: "Hey guys! I'm sorry for the inconvenience on what happened during the show! I will make up to you guys tomorrow! And to those of you who are asking about Alessia, she's doing great! The doctor said she was healthy and she's doing super great! Stay tuned for more updates on Alessia! And don't worry, tomorrow's update will be good news! Good night everyone and we will see you guys tomorrow!"

Everyone in Shawn's comments were curious about what the good news was. I was gonna update everyone tomorrow too since all of my fans are blowing up my phone on what was going on with me and hoping I was okay and all that stuff. We ate dinner and discussed about the pregnancy and all that stuff. And after that, we headed to bed. When me and Shawn were in the bed together, we were so happy. I was touching my stomach gently.

Alessia: "I can't believe this is really happening.."

Shawn: "Me too, I've always been wanting to be a father."

Alessia: "I've always wanted to be a mom all this time, and i'm actually pregnant with our first child."

Shawn: "I wonder how everyone is gonna be like when they see your baby bump."

Alessia: "Haha, i think everyone is gonna notice cause my baby bump is visible."

Shawn: "We'll still update them so they won't get confused."

Alessia: "Yea haha."

Shawn: "I can't wait till it gets here."

Alessia: "Me too."

Shawn: "We should probably go to sleep now before we wake up someone."

Alessia: "Yea we should."

Shawn: "I love you and our child so much."

Alessia: "Aww I love you too."

We kissed and then he kissed the child and I laughed softly. And with that, we fell asleep.
