~Two weeks later~

Shawn p.o.v

After two weeks, I saw Alessia and she was feeling a lot better than before. She was smiling more often like the way she always does and that's what I loved to see. I loved seeing my girl happy. Today, we invited Alessia and her parents over for dinner so my parents and Alessia's parents can interact with each other more.  They came over to my house at at about 5pm. We were sitting on the sofa with the others. Alessia was sitting on my lap as we held hands.

Mom: "I always wonder why Shawn always leave the house and now I see why."

Alessia's mom: "yea same with Alessia too, she always leaves."

Mom: "How does it feel like to be a couple?"

Shawn: "Oh it feels great, I have the best girl ever."

She chuckled.

Alessia: "Aww."

Aaliyah: "Can we see the promise ring?"

Alessia: "yea, of course."

I showed my ring to Aaliyah and everyone else.

Alessia's mom: "This is a beautiful ring, how much did it cost?"

Shawn: "$400."

Alessia's mom: "Oh wow, $400 for a promise ring?"

Shawn: "yea."

Mom: "They're celebrities, they can afford anything."

Alessia's mom: "Oh yea that's true."

Aaliyah: "Haha every single time when I would ask Shawn about his feelings for Alessia. he'll say this-"

I cut her off.

Shawn: "OKAY AALIYAH, they know that story."

Alessia: "Aww but i wanna hear."

I smiled.

Shawn: "Okay, you can say it."

Aaliyah: "Every single time when I would ask Shawn about his feelings for Alessia, he would blush every single time when he hears Alessia's name in my mouth. He loves talking about you. And he thinks about you literally all the time."

Alessia: "Awwww really?"

Aaliyah: "Oh yea, he really loves you."

Alessia: "I really love him too."

Shawn: "I love you."

Alessia: "I love you too."

We kissed.

Aaliyah: "Shalessia is better than Shawmila."

Shawn: "I agree."

Alessia: "Haha yeah!"

After a long conversation, we had dinner and then me and Alessia went upstairs to be alone together and to have private conversations and we kind of made out and when I say that, I meant kissing, nothing extra. It was a great dinner night. We were definitely gonna do this again.
