~Friday night~

I was getting ready for my date with Shawn and I wore something fancy. I wanted to do my makeup myself but my mom offered to do it for me so I guess that was okay. When I met Shawn outside, he was wearing a tuxedo and we gave each other an almost long lasting hug. 

Shawn: "Wow, oh my god Alessia..."

I smiled.

Alessia: "What?"

Shawn: "You look....absolutely....beautiful...."

Alessia: "Awwww.....thank you, you look so cute."

He smiled.

Shawn: "Let's go?"

Alessia: "Yea.."

We held hands as we started heading out. We stopped by a restaurant and ate a good meal. We were both laughing and talking about fun stuff and Shawn also flirting with me at the same time. It was a pretty fun and relaxing time at the restaurant. After dinner, we went to the beach and sat down together and watched the sunset. Alessia was sitting right in front of me as she laid her head on me as we held hands.

Alessia: (sighs) "This was exactly what i've been always wanted to..."

Shawn: "Really?"

Alessia: "Yea.."

Shawn: "Coming the sunset with you made my day amazing."

Alessia: "Aww."

We were both looking at the sunset in silence for a couple of minutes.

Alessia: "This moment is perfect..."

Shawn: "Yea it is, which means I can finally ask you what I want to ask."

I rose my head up from him and looked at Shawn. 

Shawn: "Can I borrow your promise ring for a minute?"

Alessia: "Sure."

I gave him my promise ring. 

Shawn: "I wanna marry you because you're the first person I wanna look at when I wake up in the morning, and the only one I wanna kiss goodnight. Because the first time that I saw your hands, I couldn't imagine not be able to hold them. But mainly, when you love someone as much as I love you, getting married is the only thing left do.

As soon as Shawn finished talking, I started to cry. That was the most beautiful thing i've ever heard.

Shawn: "So Alessia, will you marry me?"

I immediately nodded.

Alessia: "Yea..."

Shawn: "Really?"

Alessia: "Yes, I'll marry you Shawn...!"

He smiled and then he placed the promise ring which is also now an engagement ring. We gave each other a hug and we kissed. When we kissed, my parents and Shawn's parents and my best friends came and they were so happy.

Alessia: "Omg you guys are here?!"

Mom: "Yea we knew about it!!"

Alessia: "You all knew? Every single one of you?!"

Dad: "Yup!"

Mom: "We're so happy for you!"

Alessia: "Thank you!"

Aaliyah: "Congratulations!"

We had lots of fun and then we headed back home to have fun too. Me and Shawn couldn't believe we were actually getting married.
