"Hey, Miss Detective, want to explain?" Lily asked, raising an eyebrow and placing a hand onto her hip.

"Ok, this will probably sound weird but I think I worked things out in my head. All this stuff isn't happening now so it must've happened in the past, right?"

"All the riots and fights must've happened for a reason, huh?" Lily continued.

"Those are the seven Heavenly Virtues on those papers, right?" Jessie commented, taking one of the papers from Layla for a closer look.

"You guys can't be serious, right?" Chase groaned.

"I can't believe we're going through with this" Rebecca joined in.

"So, if all that stuff happened before the Wall came up" TJ started.

"This is basically history repeating itself" William finished, coming to life after moments of silence.

"But, how do we know for sure what happened?" Rebecca asked.

"We could perform a seance" Chase suggested. "Place the newspapers in the middle, sit in a circle and ask our daemons. They're immortal so they've seen it all"

"Um, excuse me? There's no way in hell I'm becoming a whole Satan-worshipper and calling demons!" Rebecca argued.

"Well then, what do you suggest we do, Miss Know-It-All?!" Chase slightly exploded at her. "Fucking hell, you're constant bullshit is really starting to piss me off"

TJ stepped in. "Woah, guys-

"Wait, this is good" Jessie cut him off. "Creating a negative atmosphere will help the seance"

Rebecca wasn't taking that for a second. "Like we're even doing the seance! I just told you-

"Does it look like you have a choice?! None of us has a goddamn choice in hell so PIPE DOWN, BITCH!" Chase yelled, eyes darkening to pitch black. "Now, sit the fuck down and concentrate! We're finding out what happened in the past whether your dumbass likes it or not!". Immediately, the group agree with his decision and sit in a circle. Bubbles of fear grew inside Rebecca as she obliged.

The seven sins' eyes glowed as the newspapers in the middle of the circle began to float. The winds picked up in the room as the demonic powers shared between them grew stronger, calling the monsters from deep within them to emerge. The horns on Layla's head burned, almost faltering her concentration, but the demon of Envy came just in time. In fact, smoke and darkness slowly exited from each of the teen's mouths, making them violently choke. They were gasping for breath with tears in their eyes when the mass of darkness appeared slightly over their heads.

"What do you want?" the collection of voices bellowed, eyes of different colours and shaped piercing through the cloud.

With everyone else too bewildered and out-of-breath to speak, TJ took the lead. "Is it true that you caused chaos years ago?"

"Oh yes, it was such fun!" Pride snarled, purple eyes brightening for just a moment.

"The destruction and chaos were almost too much!" Gluttony giggled insanely, orange eyes doing the same.

"If only those rotten angels didn't use their stupid light and goodness to drive us out!" Greed growled.

"Well, at least I got my revenge!" Envy cackled.

"What are you talking about?" Layla asked, recognising her own demon by their bright green eyes.

"Envy killed Kindness by driving the angel out of her body, removing her soul along with it!" Lust exclaimed.
