Reunite

The boys all slept in William's room while the girls slept in one of the spare rooms next door. A shared bathroom seperated the group, which they all used and was cleaned regularly by the maids. However, nothing could've prepared Layla for what she saw in the mirror that sweet Sunday morning.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!" Layla yelled, gripping onto the small matte black horns that were freshly growing from her head. Her hands were also drawn to her eyes which were now bright green. 

"Jesus Christ, what the fuck are you- holy shit" Lily gasped as she walked into the bathroom, finding the girl she knew for seven years with green eyes and black horns on her head. "You have horns and your eyes are green" she fearfully stated the obvious.

"Your eyes are bright blue, mate" Layla fearfully did the same. 

Soon, everyone except Jessie and Chase had seen their new ocular look and were equally shocked as each other. William's eyes were red, Rebecca's was orange, TJ's were yellow, Layla's were green, Lily's were blue, Jessie's were purple and Chase's were black.

"Yes! It worked! Everyone, get into Will's room! I'll explain in there!" Jessie called out, waking up Chase in the process.

"Well damn, I'm back to black. Nice" Chase calmly said, not tiredly for once. 

Once everyone was in the room, William spoke up. "You'd better explain this well, Jessie, or I swear..." he let the sentence hang.

Jessie clapped her hands together. "Basically, right, you know in Christianity, there are the Seven Deadly Sins, right? Well, what people don't know is that those sins are actually demons that live in certain people. Whoever they see fit, to be honest. Since there are seven of us here, each of you is assigned a sin. I can tell you which sin you are-

"I'll have to stop you right there. I'm not part-demon thankyouverymuch. I follow the Bible and I do not sin so I'm not sure what you're talking about" Rebecca cut her off.

"So I guess we'll start with you. Rebecca, your sin is Gluttony. You consume to the point of waste, and I don't mean food. How many expensive items of makeup and/or technology do you have?" Jessie asked an eyebrow raised. Rebecca remained quiet, orange irises glowing brightly. "Exactly"

"What's mine?" Lily asked, genuinely curious even though the answer was clear as day.

"Lily, your sin is Lust. You use people for sexual desire. I'm pretty sure you've already had your first time, right?" Jessie asked, tilting her head.

"Honey, I've had my fifth. It's nothing new" she grinned, peering over at TJ "I could've marked you as number six but time ran out. Sorry babes!"

TJ shrugged. "It's not like I care" he lied, an unfamiliar feeling bubbling up in his stomach.

"Now, onto you. TJ, your sin is Greed. I'm pretty sure we all know what that is" Jessie explained. "Chase is Sloth, he can't be bothered to do anything. Mine is Pride, meaning I love attention. What can I say? I deserve it" 

"So, what about me and William?" Layla asked, still touching her freshly grown horns.

"Right. William, your sin is Wrath. You basically get angry all the damn time" Jessie shrugged. "Layla, your sin is Envy. You hate people that got better shit than you or that are happier than you"

"That's why I hated going to this god damn school" Layla muttered.

"So, here comes the fun part. There's a little something you guys oughta know about your sin. Each one is associated with power too. For example, I got something I call Admire. People admire me and they follow my instructions. Chase will kill you if you interrupt his nap" Jessie calmly said, sending a collective shiver down everyone's spine.
