Don't water it.

"Bucky is suffering?" , asked Steve, his voice shaky, his face a mask of pure fear."Right in this exact moment? I don't know. Maybe, it's possible, likely even, I guess. But I can't say for sure" , I sighed.
My only telepathic connection was the one with Jaromir after all.
Steve's lowered his head, placing it in his palms, thumbs pressed against his forehead.
I reached out for him, gently placing one of my cold hands on his warm arm. It was a desperate gesture, trying to reassure Steve. I didn't have much else to give.
"Did... Did ... In your universe ... in the movies ... did I save him? Bucky, I mean" , asked Cap. So much hope rested on me and I would have to disappoint him.
"Well, yes, you did. But the films don't necessarily apply to your future" , I sighed. I had thought this through. This reality, my reality, the film reality and which one I was currently in and had come to a conclusion.
None of them.
Steve frowned at me in confusion and disappointment. What I had said didn't make sense to him.
"What do you mean by that? Of course they do! They have to. I mean, they showed you my past and they were accurate. Now they should be accurate too when it comes to predicting the future, shouldn't they?" , Cap was literally begging me to give him the answer he wanted to hear. An answer I could not give. I'd at least explain myself though.
"There are a few things that make the film possibility impossible to happen.
"The first and major problem is my existence" , I began.
"Why would your existence be a problem?" , inquired Steve.
"Well, this one is easy to answer: I don't exist in the films. I simply don't happen there. That wouldn't have to mean anything. I could happen off screen which would explain why I am not to be seen in any of the films. But there is still a problem that arises: my knowledge.
"How is this a problem, you might ask. My knowledge itself isn't a problem at all but the fact that I shared my knowledge with you is" , I explained.
Steve stayed quiet for quite some time, apparently wrecking his brain for a loophole in it all. Or maybe he just needed this time to process the information I had given him.
I used the time of silence to get some cake and think things through.
I had told Steve about what I knew about his past. And about Bucky's past to prove that I was who I claimed to be. That didn't necessarily have to have any consequences for any of us. If I had stuck to talking about the past and repeating knowledge Steve had already had. But I had filled him in on things he hadn't known by revealing that Bucky hadn't died.
This information influenced the present because I had also told Steve that Bucky was still alive at the moment and in danger. I was pretty sure that Steve was not willing to wait for Bucky to just show up so he could pick him up knowing that his old friend needed saving.
Steve got out of his chair and the movement brought me back to reality.
I watched the muscular man walk away from the table and towards one of the walls that was completely made out of glass, allowing a great view of some green landscape with hills, a lot of grass and a forest in the distance. His back was turned toward me as he stopped a few centimetres from the glass, his hands crossed behind his back.
