Floating high above the ground, everything looks so much easier.

When I awoke the next morning I felt like I had been run over by a lorry. Multiple times. And hit by lightning, stabbed and died. Often.I kept my eyelids shut, unwilling to let the light touch my eyes. A day unseen is a day unstarted. Or something.
You don't look well, Jaromir greeted me.
Thanks, mate. I don't feel well either, I replied. Even thinking hurt.
Jaromir send me a glance of what I looked like and he was right. I looked like shit.
Apparently someone had payed me a visit and electrocuted me, judging by the impossible state of my hair, which had blissfully grown during the last few weeks because haircuts hadn't exactly been on my agenda and stood in all directions now.
There were uncountable wrinkles in my face which suggested that the person who's come and electrocuted me had also tried to suffocate me with a pillow.
The shadows under my eyes were of an unhealthy dark colour and the scars looked more prominent than normally which made me look like a zombie.
There were traces of dried up tears all over my face. I must have cried at night but I really didn't remember any dreams.
I do, they weren't nice. I'll spare you those memories, Jaromir proclaimed.
I was grateful for this.
Apart from my face there was a body left to look beaten too.
My limbs appeared to be in a tight knot that I could impossibly gotten them into myself. The blanket was wrapped around every single limb seperately.
How was that even possible?
No one came and did that to you, you know. You did it yourself, Jaromir threw in.
Great, that made me feel better. Not.
How come I look like this then? Did I have a dance off with anyone tonight?
Nah, you didn't. Just moved a lot in your sleep.
I reluctantly opened my eyes. The world wasn't as bright as I had expected it to be which was due to having seen the world from Jaromir's kind of view who was a lot better than I at seeing in the dark. Cat eyes.
"How late is it even?" , I croaked. My voice sounded hoarse and cracked and sickly.
Maybe I was sick.
No, you're not, believe me. You just had a rough day and a rough night. And I don't know how late it is. I can't read clocks, J promised.
Just look at one and show me, will you? I can read clocks, I reminded him. I didn't have the nerve for bullshit today.
Jaromir did me the favour and a heartbeat later I knew that it was only 5:41 AM and that turning around and getting some more rest was totally appropriate.
But I don't want to sleeeeep, Jaromir complained.
I rolled my eyes.
