This chapter was requested by @fan_of_joanne123 i'm so sorry it's taken so long to get out. I hope you like it.

It was a cold dark November evening. It was the year of 2028. 10 years since Joe and Dianne had met on strictly come dancing. They now had an excitable 4 year old girl called Lola. It had also been 10 years since Joe and Dianne's close friends Stacey and Kevin had got together and they haven't been out for a meal as the four of them for about 3 years.

"Munchkin, promise you'll be good for Auntie Zoe and Uncle Alfie and play nicely with Elijah?" Dianne said as she was just about to leave with Joe.

The little girl nodded and ran off with her little cousin. All she wanted to do was play, all day and every day. However, she did have quite a sensitive side too which Dianne liked and she assumed it came from Joe.

"Thanks so much Zo for looking after her."

"Oh it's no worries, now that you've moved over to Brighton it's simple just to come over. Just remember to be carful ok?" Zoe said to Dianne.

"Yes, I know I will be! Joe are you nearly ready? We going to be running late soon!" Dianne shouted up the stairs.

"Yeah on minute."

"Honestly, I can't believe people assume that women take longer than men to get ready. Joe takes double the time I do!" Dianne laughed.

"Oh but Di he's always been like that. He obviously wants to impress you!" She smirked.

Joe came down the stairs just finishing buttoning up his shirt.

"What are you two smirking about then?"

"Nothing, go and say bye to Lola and then we need to get off."

"Bye sweetheart, I love you." Joe said pressing a kiss on her forehead.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Hey, do I not get a bye or a kiss then?" Joe asked.

The little girl disconnected herself from the game for 3 seconds to kiss her dad and then went back to playing with her cousin.

"How is she only four? She acts like she's bloody 14!" Joe laughed.

"Haha, right you two get off. Alfie will be here soon so no need to worry. Have a nice time."

"Stace!" Joe exclaimed when they met up with each other outside the restaurant.

"Oh my gosh. I can't explain how much i've missed you both!" Stacey said.

"How are you both?" Kevin asked as they sat down at the table.

Dianne looked at Joe.

"Yeah, we're as good as you can be with a maniac four year old running around the house." She laughed.

"Naw bless, how is she coping with reception?" Stacey asked as they got given a menu.

"Yeah I think she's doing ok. Don't you?" Dianne said looking at Joe.

"Yeah. She was a little reluctant at first but after a week or two she loved it."

They soon filtered off into two separate conversations between Dianne and Stacey and Joe and Kevin.

"So. Any plans on having a little baby any time soon?" Dianne asked.

"Well. No not really."

Dianne's face dropped.

"Because of all the documentaries i've got lined up and Kev's got numerous events we just can't find the time right now to have a baby."

"Yeah I totally understand. It took a lot for Joe to persuade me to come out of strictly for a year to have Lola."

"So then Joe, how is it really going between you and Di?" Kevin asked.

"No yeah we're both happy. There have been quite a few more arguments between us now that we've had Lola but other that we're great!" He replied.

"But more like stupid arguments about like who needs to do the dishes or who lost the tv remote." Joe said, hoping his wife hasn't heard him.

"Anyway bro, how is it with you and Stacey?"

"Really good. We've been apart for a bit of time because she's been away doing a documentary. But when we are together I couldn't be happier."

"Naww Kevvy, that was the sweetest thing i've heard you day." Stacey said, butting into their convosation.

Kevin went as red a Dianne's hair. Trying to hide his redness he got up to go to the toilet but just as he did that the waiter came over to take orders.

"Wow that food was amazing!" Dianne said leaning back on her chair, pushing out her stomach.

Suddenly, Stacey clocked something unusual with Dianne but she didn't want to bring it up just then and there.

"What's this wine called again?" Kevin asked Joe.

"Oh goodness me I can't remember, but it is lovely."

"You not feeling wine today Lady Di?" Stacey asked Dianne who was drinking lemonade.

Dianne shook her head. After the plates got cleared away Dianne placed her hand on Joe's leg. He knew it was time.

"So guys. We've not had a catch-up like this is ages and i've missed it. I've missed the awesome foursome." Joe said squeezing Dianne's hand slightly.

"Actually before we order any desserts, I- well we want to tell you both something." Dianne said stuttering.

Both Kevin and Stacey looked at each other with a fearful look on their faces.

"No need to look so frightened. It's not bad news." Joe laughed.

"So. Joe and I will be expecting another little baby in around June time next year." Dianne said, smile beaming ear to ear.

Stacey's draw dropped.

"No way. Oh my gosh congrats." She said as her and Kevin were getting up to hug the couple.

"So how have you been feeling Di?" Kevin asked.

"Erm, well i've been super sick for the first few weeks. I'm only finally feeling myself again now."

"Oh wow that's such fantastic news you guys!"

"I'm very excited. Very very excited!" Joe said placing a soft kiss on Dianne's lips.
