Hold me tight| Joe & Dianne oneshot series

It was yet another rainy, cold February day in London. The weather had been so bad recently parts of the country were flooded. Despite the bad weather, Dianne had her final show of the Strictly live tour in the O2 arena. What made it even better was that Joe was joining her.

"I'm so excited to see you perform again beautiful. You never fail to amaze me with your talent!" Joe said as he packed his rucksack.

"Joseph Sugg, you're so soft." She giggled.

Then his faces changed to a pinkish, plumish colour. It was a colour of embarrassment. He tried to hide his face by bending down into the dishwasher but Dianne had known this boy for too long now.

"Joseph, I may come across as stupid but, I know you're hiding your face from me!" She exclaimed chasing him round the kitchen until eventually they both collapsed onto the sofa.

"Can we just stay here and cuddle Dot?"

"Joe, you know we can't do that. But guess what. This is my last show tonight so after tonight you can have all the cuddles you want."

"Good because i've missed them." He said as he placed a kiss upon her forehead.

"Hi Joe mate, how are you?" Neil asked, clenching hands with Joe.

"Yeah not to bad thanks. As much as I enjoy watching you all on tour, I'm glad that it's coming to an end tonight and I can get my Dotty back." Joe replied.

"Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I am kinda glad it's coming to an end. As much as I'm going to miss it, I can't wait to just have a bit of 'me' time. You know what I mean?"

"Oh totally"

Although the celebs from 2018 weren't there, Joe was enjoying seeing all his old friends again. It was like a school reunion.

"Right mate, I'm gonna go find Di. Good luck with the final show! Hope it goes great."

Three gentle knocks on the girls dressing room door was all that was needed for Dianne to know it was her Joey. She bolted upright of her chair, leaving her phone behind to answer the door.

"Joseph" She kisses his nose.

"I though you said that you were going to hang out with the guys whilst we got ready?" She questioned.

"I know, I am. I just wanted to come and give you this." He placed a letter in her hand, kissed her hairline and walked off.

Slightly confused, Dianne turned around and walked back into the dressing room and sat down on her own to read it. It read

To my dearest Dotty,
I have chosen to write you this rather than tell you because at the moment i've not had a chance to because of how busy you've been!
Dot I love you so, so, so much. When I wake up in the morning on my own you're my first thought. I feel like I need you more and more each day you're away.
Thank you for making me the happiest guy ever! I seriously thought I could never be in love with someone until I met you. I would do anything for you my gorgeous girl.
I can't wait to have you home again. Can't wait to have someone to cuddle again and someone to laugh with.

As Dianne was reading this she has a small tear rolling down her cheek that she was unaware of. Suddenly she felt a cold finger wipe it away. Looking up, she saw her best friend smiling over her shoulder.

"What you getting all emosh about then? You're not pregnant are you!" She joked.

"Haha definitely not Ames! Just received a little hand written note from Joe. Brought me to tears a bit."

"Aww Di. You are so cute." Amy snuggled closer as Dianne re read the letter.

"Wow Dot! You really have got a keeper haven't you!" Amy said once Dianne had read out the note again.

Dot just simply nodded, smiling so her dimples were present.

"Andddddd that's a wrap you guys! Thank you so much to everyone who made this tour worthwhile!" The producer shouted.

Most people were going out into London for some drinks however, Dianne was shattered and just wanted to get home and cuddle with Joe on the couch. Fall asleep on his shoulder drooling. That's what she did best! So thats what they did.

"Ahh it feels so nice to finally be home knowing that i'm staying too!" Dianne laughed as Joe carried in her luggage placing it at the bottom of the stairs.

"What do you think? Pjs, sofa, glass of wine and a film?" Joe asked.

"Most definitely. Oh how i've missed you Joe."

Not long after they were both snuggled under a blanket, changing their mind about a glass of wine and instead having a cup of tea. Joe had put on a film from Netflix and Dianne felt as though she could finally relax.

"I'm so glad you're home little miss." He said stroking her cheek.

"Joe. I was thinking. This could be the last time I did the tour because. Well. When do we want to start to settle down. You know. Think about a baby?"

This was something they'd definitely spoken about and they both wanted it to happen, just unsure when.

"Dot, like i've always said. It's your body, your. career, it's up to you."

"I think by the end of this year. I'll do this years season of strictly and then it'll be my last one and we can maybe start trying then?" She asked.

"Whatever makes you happy. I just can't wait to start a family with you. I mean think about it, how cute is our baby going to be!"

"I hope it has my red hair" Dianne joked.

"Seriously though, I hope it has your deep, dark, gorgeous brown eyes and my blondy browny hair." Joe said.

"Yes, but even with your gorgeous blue eyes Joseph. Awhhh they're going to be so cute."

"Ah I see. You're already planning on having more than one." He laughed.

"Oh you know what I mean!"

"One last thing before I probably drop off asleep. Thank you for that amazing note you gave me toady! It brought me to tears. I seriously am the luckiest girl alive."

"And i'm the luckiest guy alive."

Dianne snuggled deeper into Joe's shoulder under the blanket and closed her eyes, very quickly falling into a gently slumber.

Joe kissed her temple.

"I love you Dotty." He whispered.
