It was another warm evening in London however, it was unknown to both Joe and Dianne of what day it was due to the fact that they'd now been stuck inside for nearly 4 weeks. Joe was in his office editing a new video for his channel and Dianne was on the couch, sorting out what she could do in her live workout video the next day.

Suddenly, Dianne had an huge overflow of thoughts in her head. All these thoughts turning into worries; "What if they don't like it?" "What if Joe can't do it?" "What if some people write mean comments?" She didn't want to admit it to anyone but, Dianne was finding the whole lockdown situation hard and she could tell it was slowly affecting her mental health. She put down her phone and just sat. Sat staring at the blank wall where the projector would show the TV. She was letting her thoughts get the better of her.

Dianne cast her eyes around the disarray that was the apartment, laundry piled high and counters and dishes unwashed. How could she fit those things in when she had to come up with things to do to keep others in this awful situation entertained? She knew she needed her Joseph at this moment however, she had to let him work. Deciding to let herself deal with the situation, she lay down on the couch and closed her eyes, attempting to fall asleep.

Joe had been editing for quite some time and hadn't heard a thing from Dianne. This meant she was either: sleeping, planning on pulling a prank on him or making a tiktok! Joe said to himself that he'd go and check in five minute.

Twenty minutes had passed and Joe hadn't been to see Dianne yet. Realising how fast the time went, he removed his headphones and stood up to go and search for his red headed girlfriend. She wasn't too difficult to find however, on the couch asleep as he expected. Joe slowly moved towards her and sat down stroking her hair, in hope to wake her up gently.

"Dotty." He whispered softly into her ear.'

Dianne started to stir. All the thoughts that she thought had left came flooding back. She opened her eyes and saw Joe so, decided to plaster a small, but fake smile on her face so he wouldn't suspect her being anxious.

"Ello beautiful, you alright?" Joe asked.

She just replied with a groan, hoping that he wouldn't catch on.

"You're not are you? What's wrong Little One?"

Joe was definitely the person in the relationship who used pet names more, he just felt that they stuck better and her preferred using them. Made him feel special.

"I'm fine."

"Now I know you're not, you can tell me Dot." He said sitting up and taking her hands in his.

"Joe, i'm just so stressed out!" She broke down. "I wanna go outside and stuff, I want to see all my friends again and I can't be in this house any longer. Like i'm doing crazy."

"Hey hey, sweetheart don't work yourself up about it. I'm here." He replied whilst pulling her into a hug.

Suddenly her breaths turned into gasps and Joe could feel her heart beating hard against her chest. He pulled out of the hug and started to rub her arms up and down gently.

"You alright?" He asked.

"Joe, I cant breathe." She said whilst putting her hand on her chest.

"Dianne, listen you're fine, you're ok. Do you need water?" He asked trying not to panic. He'd never experienced something like this with Dianne.

"Joe, no. No." She started to cry, whilst gasping for air.

"Sh-sh, calm down. I've got you. Deep breaths ok?"

"I feel like i'm gonna pass out!" She said, which obviously panicked Joe even more.

"No, you're fine Dot. Dianne, listen to me. You're ok." He embraced her into a warm hug.

Eventually her breathing went back to normal and it was just cried coming from her.

"Joey, i'm just stressed out. I need to go outside." She said sipping some water Joe had gotten.

"I know, everyone does Sweetie. But we have to stay in so everything will sort itself out. We just need to distract ourselves."

"I want my Mum." She cried into his shoulder.

"Aww Dotty, come here. How about this eh? We go upstairs and get into our jammies and get into bed and cuddle up and you can call your mum and dad?"

She just simply nodded. Joe checked the doors and windows were locked and then helped her up the stairs, into the bedroom and into her pyjamas. The couple climbed into their warm bed and snuggled down together. Joe reached over for Dianne's phone and unlocked it so he could ring Rina.

"G'day Dotty, how are ya? Mark, Dot's on the phone!" Was what came through the phone when Rina answered.

Hearing her mum's voice made Dianne tear up again.

"Mummy, I miss you." She cried.

"Aw my Dotty, I miss you too! Now why the tears princess?" Rina questioned.

"She's just had a little moment downstairs, didn't you?" Joe said jumping into frame as Dianne nodded.

"Bless ya gorg. Is it anxiety like when you were younger?" Rina asked her daughter recognising the way she was acting. Dianne had quite bad anxiety as a child so had experienced this before but, not for a long time.

She just earned a nod from Dianne. Both Mark and Rina tried their very best to make their daughter feel slightly better about missing home however, Rina suspected that it wasn't just that. Dianne had fallen into a soft slumber to her mums voice and Joe was just saying bye and about to hang up when Rina asked him to to go to the other room.

"She's not just missing home is she?" Rina asked Joe.

"No, i'm not too sure what's up with her to be honest. I think it's to do with this whole lockdown and virus situation. It's all getting a bit much." He explained.

"Yeah, I understand. It is hard, just keep giving her lots of cuddles and give me a ring if it gets worse ok?"

"Of course Rina."

"Thank you Joseph, take care." She said.

"Bye."

The FaceTime call hung up and Joe headed back to his girl. He got back under the duvet next to her and wrapped his arm around her warm body.

"I love you so much, everything is going to be ok." He muttered into her soft scalp by the side of her ear.
