It was half twelve at night and the thunderstorm was still passing through.

Corey was asleep and Oliver was just starting to drift off but every time the thunder crackled in the sky, it would wake them up.

Luka couldn't bring himself to sleep, he was too tense and scared to settle down.

He was laying on top of Rayvon with his face buried into the side of his neck.

Every time the thunder would hit, Rayvon planted a kiss into his soft hair.

He wanted his soulmate to sleep but it was clear that he wouldn't until the storm went away.

Panuleon and Jed were listening to the Angels whispers. Some of the thunder was due to an angel of higher power being extremely angry.

They were trying to figure out what it was but their voices were not very clear.

Jed is an angel of higher power which means he has a greater authority stance over Panuleon.

The Angel does look up to Jeduthun, he is a very important Angel and one that is very popular in heaven.

Jed doesn't see it that way. Yes, he has the authority but in his eyes, he and Panuleon are equal.

"They're talking about the children" Jed whispered.

Panuleon nodded and glanced at Luka who only just closed his eyes.

They always talk about the children.

Just then, there was a bright light that flashed from outside the tent, the vampires thought it was lightning but the angels could sense something else.

The zip to the tent opened immediately and in walked two male angels.

Jed and Panuleon stood up, getting ready to protect their family if they needed too.

The vampires had sat up in a panic as Madison switched on the big lamp so they could see what was going on.

Luka and Rayvon looked at the two winged men. They didn't know if they should be fearful or not.

"Panuleon, Corey and Luka are due back to heaven."

Corey was rubbing his tired eyes before sitting up.

Panuleon frowned at the angel.

"What do you mean?"

"The elder angels need you back in heaven."

Panuleon was beyond confused.

"Corey and Luka don't belong in heaven," He said while narrowing his eyes.

Oliver was also rubbing his eyes as he tried to understand what was happening.

"Too many angels are rebelling because of this family. If you're in heaven, they won't."

"Excuse me," Jed said. "You can't come to earth and demand that he goes back to heaven after all this time."

"I have orders to," He said bluntly and looked at the other male angel.

He nodded and tried pushing past Panuleon to get to Luka but the angel wasn't moving.

"I don't belong in heaven anymore," He said. "My family and life are on earth, it's not our fault that the angels want the same freedom."

"It is your fault. You broke the rules by falling in love with a human."

Jed and Panuleon shared a glance. It's rare, but these two were angels who didn't accept Panuleon.
