Chapter 79

Corey is very good at fainting in challenging situations.

The first time he met his angel, he fainted.

But Corey's parents have been dead for a long time and he never thought he would ever get the chance to see them again.

He almost forgot what they looked like. He definitely forgot what they sounded like.

It was just a shock to his system that they turned up so suddenly. He had no warning and no time to prepare himself.

"But, didn't his parents pass away like ages ago?" Oliver questioned. "Wait, Luka... was your wish to bring them back to life?"

Everyone pulled their gaze away from Corey's parents and looked at the half Angel.

"Yes," He said quietly but he didn't think his dad would faint.

"Corey?" Panuleon said and gently shook him.

He had one hand on the side of his face as he leant over him. He was starting to wake up.

He only passed out for around two minutes and his senses were coming back to him.

"Right," Duke said as he looked at the two people behind him. "I think we should give them some space."

"But-"

"Come on Oliver," Vinny said and took his hand. "We can meet them later but it's best for Corey if he has space to figure this out."

Zachariah was holding onto Jenny.

Corey's mum is her sister. She never thought she would see her again but here she was, just standing there and looking confused.

"Jenny," Zachariah said quietly. "Let Corey get used to them first and then when we all have a better understanding of this, you can say hello."

She was barely listening to her angel but it was the right thing to do.

Corey needed to see his parents with no distractions.

"Come on" Zachariah smiled and pulled her around the back of the 'strangers'.

Everyone was starting to leave but Corey's parents had no idea where they were although, the elder Angels had told them that they were going to get reunited with their son.

Even Luka and Rayvon left but it was for the best. They could all meet when things were a little less confusing.

When the door shut behind them, the silence was very visible as Corey's parents, Corey and Panuleon were left in the room.

The angel turned to see them just staring at him.

He couldn't blame them, it has been a very long time since they've seen each other.

They didn't know what to do, everything was so unfamiliar to them.

Panuleon turned and tapped Corey's cheek again.

"Hey" He whispered when he frowned and moved his arms. "Corey, can you hear me?"

His soulmate didn't quite understand why he fainted as his eyes slowly flickered open.

The first thing he saw was Panuleon.

"What hap-"

But then he caught sight of his parents, standing by the door.

Panuleon felt Corey's thoughts drift away as he fainted again.

He chewed the inside of his lip before picking him up and walking over to the bed.
