Oliver was lying on the grass.
His clothes were dripping wet.
He had just hauled himself out of the lake that Rayvon pushed him into. The water was freezing but it was warm today so he didn't mind that much.
Vinny watched him closely, making sure he was okay. He was lying on his stomach as he got his breath back from when the cold took it away.
Rayvon had jogged across the grass because he knew Oliver would've gotten him back for it.
He and Luka were watching from a distance.
Oliver sighed and stood up. He took his shoes off and emptied the water from them. But he suddenly jumped forwards and forced Vinny into a hug.
"Oliver!" He said without hugging him back. "Get off."
"You looked a little warm," Oliver said and hugged him tighter.
Everyone chuckled as Vinny could feel the wet seeping through his clothes.
"You're such a child."
Oliver stood like that for a few seconds more until Vinny pushed him away. He looked down and the front of him was now wet too.
Vinny glanced back up and for a split second, Oliver could see the mischievous side flash through his eyes.
He didn't have time to react before Vinny reached out and pushed him back into the freezing cold water.
Oliver gasped as his breath caught in his throat once more.
"T-That's s-so cold" He stuttered and quickly pulled himself out again.
He laid on the grass and took a moment for his lungs to calm down.
Vinny unbuttoned his waistcoat and laid it on the grass next to him so it had a better chance of drying.
He then sat down as Oliver sat up.
He crossed his legs and smiled like nothing had happened.
"What a wonderful family I have" He sighed. "I'm staying here until I dry."
Vinny smiled and ran a hand through his soulmates wet hair.
"See if you can transport me to that tree," Rayvon said to Luka as he flashed his beautiful wings.
"I'll try, but you're so heavy" He chuckled quietly.
Rayvon watched as he wrapped his arms around his waist and gripped him tight.
Their whole bodies shivered at the close contact as Rayvon's smell invaded Luka's nose.
"Use those muscles Luka" He chuckled.
"I don't have any" He grinned and took a breath.
Panuleon and Corey watched before they disappeared but landed only three meters away and toppled onto the floor.
Rayvon fell backwards and Luka landed on top of him.
They laughed as he rolled to the side and laid next to him.
"I don't think you've grown since you were about fourteen," Rayvon said.
"I know" Luka smiled. "And I don't think you'll stop until you're the same height as Vinny."
"Are you the same height as Corey?"
"No, I'm an inch shorter."
"I think that's it. You'll stay that small forever."
