When Vinny told everyone the story of how he got back, Jed, Zachariah, Aliyah and the two other angels started a quest to find the female demon.

They weren't going to let her wander around this earth, not in a million years.

They understood why Vinny faked the deal with her, he had to get home.

But she was a danger because she knew how to make the instrument that opened the tear to the other world and it was not wise to leave her to do whatever she wanted.

Vinny said she was weirdly kind to him so they were going to take her back to the mansion, question her and then decided what they wanted to do.

She did leave the instrument in the hands of Vinny who gave it to the angels. They have closed off the tear that Vinny had made the demon leader open but they were going to keep this instrument, hidden away.

It might be of use to them with the upcoming war.

It was currently half nine in the morning and Vinny was watching his soulmate sleep.

Waking up with him right by his side was everything he had ever wished for.

He watched his gentle face and felt his chest as it slowly raised up and down. Finally, they were feeling completely normal.

There was no more cloudy headaches, no more chest pains, sorrow or heartache.

The bond was back to its normal time limit even though they won't be leaving each other's side for a long time.

But they were together and that's all that mattered to Vinny.

Today, he was planning to spend as much time as he could with Oliver and Rayvon. Those are the two most important people in his life and those are the two who have suffered his absence the most.

Just then, Oliver's eyebrows curled into a frown as he slowly stretched his arms above his head.

Vinny watched with a gentle smile. He loved it when he did that.

This was the best nights sleep Oliver has had in such a long time but he suddenly started to panic.

What if it was all a dream?

What if his soulmate didn't come back and he had forced himself to imagine it all?

He instantly opened his tired eyes and sat up, looking around desperately.

They locked eyes with each other and he breathed out a sigh of relief. He put a hand on his forehead and let himself calm down.

The vampire watched him closely. He could feel his stressed emotions but he felt the same when he woke up.

"You're actually here," Oliver said and suddenly pulled his soulmate on top of him.

Vinny accepted it and rested against his body.

"I thought I had dreamt it all too when I woke up," He said before wrapping his arms around his shoulders. "Waking up next to you never felt so special."

"I know" Oliver muffled into his neck. "I didn't realise how much I needed you until you weren't there anymore."

Vinny closed his eyes and took in his favourite scent.

They both relaxed and took a moment to cherish one another's company.

"You know in the films when the couples say 'I can't live without you'. They don't mean it as literal as we do since Oliver, I literally can't live without you."

Oliver smiled against the vampire's skin, making him shudder slightly at his touch.

"I missed everything. I missed how you made it a daily ritual to touch me up in public. I missed your incredibly attractive eye rolls. I missed how your hair falls into your eyes in the morning because you haven't styled it into its black mess and I missed how your deep voice sometimes cracks when you laugh."
