As soon as Luka let go of the cat, Vinny let his breath out and almost collapsed against the table. He caught himself just in time and looked around with a very confused frown.
"Vinny?" Duke questioned and forced him to look in his direction. "Can you hear me? Are you okay?"
The vampire watched his dad for a moment but his mind was now back in the room.
"I can hear you," He said and sat up straight. "But what just happened?"
"That's what we want to know" Madison frowned while Panuleon studied him closely.
"Your mind-"
"Wait," Vinny said. There was only one explanation for this. "The cat."
Then without another word, he got up and walked out of the dining room, leaving everyone stunned and confused.

Five Minutes later.
"She's purring really loud" Oliver chuckled.
Luka was still watching Orin. He felt weird about what he just shared with her. He knew she shared a connection with someone else and that was creeping him out.
Suddenly, the door burst open, making him jump and grab onto Rayvon.
But it was only Vinny. Although he looked like he was extremely confused.
He sighed when he saw Oliver holding Orin and knew he must be up to something.
"What did you do to the cat?"
"Nothing," Oliver said innocently. "Wait... why? Did you feel something?"
Vinny looked at Rayvon and Luka who were watching him and he understood they now had their suspicions about Orin. But he wanted to find out what they had been doing to her.
He turned and shut the door before crossing his arms.
"What did you do to the cat?" He asked again.
"Nothing," Oliver said and if he wasn't holding the cat, he would've held up his hands in defence.
"You're a terrible liar."
"You are" Rayvon chuckled.
"Stop ganging up on me" Oliver chuckled. It still felt weird for him to be naturally happy after two years of hell but he was certainly not going to take it for granted.
"It's you!" Luka then said, maybe a little more excited than what he wanted.
Vinny looked down at him with a funny frown.
"I'd love to be in your head for a day," Oliver admitted and tilted his head slightly, wondering how he just knows things.
"It's actually really fun" Rayvon said. "Sharing a mind with him is never not entertaining."
Luka looked up with a big smile that melted the half vampire's heart.
But he returned his attention to Vinny who was staring at him with those none judgemental eyes.
"It's you who connected with the cat," He said quietly.
Vinny glanced at Orin, that simple cat was suddenly much more than ordinary.
"When I was sitting downstairs, something just came over me and I could suddenly see into this room. I could see all of you but I'm more than sure I was looking through the eyes of the cat."
"You saw all of us?" Oliver questioned.
"Yes, and I could hear you too. It felt like I was in the same room."
