Chapter 6 - Aunty

"You and mom really did that? I can't believe that!" Vaani said laughing hysterically.
"Guilty as charged!" Muskaan said joining in the laughter.
"God I can't believe you're my aunt, it's the best thing that could have possibly happened to me."
"I have the best niece on earth!"
"And I the best aunt!"
Muskaan gave Vaani a big tight hug.
"And if you ever need more stories about your mother, you know where to get them." She reminded Vaani.
"Will do, thank you!" Vaani smiled at her aunt.
"Now, how about a little song?" Muskaan asked. Vaani's eyes lit up immediately. In various ways she reminded Muskaan of Sonam. She was the perfect image of her. Not only look wise, but also character wise.
"Sounds perfect!" She said and grabbed her guitar. Vaani started playing her favorite song on the guitar. She began singing and shortly after Muskaan joined her. Both harmonized very well together. They had a blast singing together. Eventually the jamming session came to an end when they heard someone's applause.

"That was very beautiful my girls!" Ishaan said while walking into Vaani's room. Muskaan's heart did a full 360 when he said my girls. She thought it was the sweetest thing ever for him to say.
"Thank you." Vaani and Muskaan said at the same time.
"So ladies, how about I take you two out for lunch today?" He suggested
"Oh that sounds great! But I need to get changed first, now out everyone!" She squeaked. Muskaan and Ishaan couldn't help but laugh at her behavior. They walked outside of her room.
"Where are we going? Do I need to change too?" She laughed.
"You look beautiful as always, but it's a more fancy restaurant, so you might want to."
"Alright then, give me 15 minutes and I'll be ready." Muskaan said and walked into her room. She changed into a more formal dress and brushed her hair. She put on some makeup and complimented it with some jewelry. After exactly 15 minutes she was ready and went outside. She saw Ishaan already waiting for them. And that quite handsome too. Ishaan was waiting downstairs when his eyes met Muskaan. He was shocked. He already knew that she was gorgeous. But still Ishaan was surprised everytime she managed to be even more beautiful than the previous day.
"You look breathtaking!" Ishaan stated.
"Thank you!" She said while blushing. Finally Vaani got ready too and rushed downstairs.
"Let's go!" Vaani said and walked outside. Everyone walked towards Ishaan's car and sat down. Ishaan started the engine and drove them to the restaurant.

30 minutes later they arrived at the restaurant. Everyone got out of the car and walked inside. Ishaan and Muskaan hand in hand. Vaani was very happy at the sight. She didn't mind it one bit. Her aunt and father being together made her happy. She thought they suit each other very well. They walked towards their table and sat down. Ishaan of course had to be a gentleman and pull out the chair for them.
"May I take your order?" The waiter asked.
"Hmm I think I'm going with the chicken fettuccine alfredo." Ishaan replied.
"I'll take the Pasta Carbonara" Vaani said.
"And for the gorgeous lady?" He said.
Muskaan blushed and smiled slightly.
"I'll have the mushroom risotto please."
"Good choice, I'll be back with your drinks." The waiter said and winked at Muskaan.
"The service here is a little bit too friendly don't you think?" Ishaan angrily mumbled. Muskaan laughed a little. She thought it was cute how he was jealous.
"Someone's jealous." She teased him.
"Me jealous? Pfft no!"
"Look at you two acting like kids." Vaani said and giggled. The waiter came back with the drinks.
"Here sprite for the young lady, coke for  you sir and another coke for the beautiful lady." He flirted while putting down their glasses on the table. He wen away afterwards. You could see that Ishaan was very jealous. Muskaan smiled and pecked his cheek.
"Let's just enjoy our lunch okay?" She whispered. Ishaan smiled at her, she was perfect. So was life, simply perfect.
