Chapter 23 - Marry me

"Where are you taking me?"

"Just trust me and follow me." Ishaan reassured her. Muskaan followed him without a clue of what was going on.

"Why did you bring me to your office?" She asked confused.

"Will you just please trust me? I brought you here because I'm taking you on a journey to prove you how much I love you." Muskaan didn't know what to say. She had no idea what he had planned, but he trusted her and just let him talk.

"This is the place you had entered my life again after a few years. The day I saw you again I felt different. I had felt something I hadn't felt in a very long time. That day I wanted to get to know you better. I wanted to be with you. I knew something about you was special." Muskaan was overwhelmed. She looked lovingly at him listening carefully. She didn't need to say a word. All her doubts and worries were slowly fading.

"Moving to our next stop!" He took her hand and carefully dragged her behind him. They went to the park. The exact spot where they bought the caramel apples that day.

"Remember how crazy you went for those caramel apples that day?"

"How could I forget, I love caramel apples." She chuckled.

"Well that day not only did I gave you a caramel apple, but I realized how much you meant to me and how much I loved you. I fell in love with your childish behavior, your kindness, how much you care about your loved ones, with all your imperfections and simply I fell in love with you Muskaan."
Muskaan tried to hold back her tears. How could've she doubt him. There he was proving all his doubts and she was being silly by trusting Alex's words.
They once again started walking. The went to their last stop.

"This is our last stop."
Muskaan looked around and recognized the place.

"This is the place I did this." Ishaan pulled her closer and kissed her with all the love he had for her.

"And the place I said I love you for the first time. Muskaan I love you! I was an idiot for letting you go, but I promise I'll never do the same mistake again!"
Muskaan couldn't help but just beginn to cry. They were happy tears, because she was so overwhelmed by emotions. She kissed him once again.

"I'm sorry for ever doubting you."

"It's alright I don't blame you, I'm just glad everything is alright now."

"Can you forgive me?" She asked.

"Under one condition."

"What condition?"

"Marry me!"

"What?" Muskaan asked confused. Ishaan kneeled down and pulled out a red velvet box out of his jacket. He opened it to reveal probably the most beautiful diamant ring Muskaan had ever seen.

"Marry me Muskaan. I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
Muskaan was shocked. That was the last thing she had expected from him today.

"Yes, of course I'll marry you!" She squeaked in excitement. He happily put the ring on her finger and kissed her once again passionately.

"I'm so glad you said yes!"

"I would've been crazy if I'd say no"she laughed. He was relieved she had said yes. He had gotten that ring the day they started dating. He just knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Muskaan was exploding from excitment, soon she was going to be his wife. Muskaan Gupta sounded beautiful. She couldn't believe it. Her life turned out to be better than her dream. Whatever doubt and worry she had was now gone, because after all he had been all she was searching for!
