I put a coat on and slip my fuzzy shoes on before sneaking outside. I turn my back to the outdoors and close it quietly. I sigh and look down.
"Jun why did-" I start but immediately stop seeing one heart shaped balloon, a large white sloth, a bouquet of flowers and a white velvet box.
"What is this?" I ask and step towards him as he smiles, seeing me.
"Well I know you were just recognized as star athlete at school but I was not at school to congratulate you at the ceremony. I knew it was coming up a couple weeks in advanced so I've been getting connections to surprise you. That's kind of why I didn't want you to see my phone, just in case a text came in..I didn't want you to see what I was planning on getting you." Jin says sheepishly. I smile as my mind was put at ease.
"Aw Jun, you didn't have to." I smile as I take the gifts. I open the box to reveal a rose gold watch with pink and purple flowers on the inside.
"Just wanted to congratulate you." He smiles and I take my gifts.
Jun kisses my temple and gently holds my hand, caressing it with his thumb. I get on my toes and give him a quick kiss.
"What was it that you wanted to talk to me about?" He asks and I hum, feeling bad.
"I uh...well~never mind." I say and he pouts a little.
"No tell me." He persists and I sigh and lean against the pillar.
"I thought you were cheating on me." I say and and he gives a look of confusion.
"I would never cheat on you though. I just wanted to surprise you." Jun says and I nod and look down.
"I'm sorry." I apologize and he hugs me to his chest and kisses my head.
"No need. Need help carrying these inside?"
"No, but thank you Jun." I say and peck his neck before gathering up my things.
