Lyra

We all sat at the large tables and held hands. My mom prayed over the food before we all started to eat. There was a mixture of American and Korean culture at the table but it was still amazing. I sat between Namjoon and Jungkook. I originally tried to sit next to Hoseok but Taehyung beat me to it and Hoseok was already sitting next to Namjoon's dad.

We all converse at the table and tell stories. Mainly the stories came from the guys about their travels. I was in the middle of taking a drink of my water when I caught Hoseok looking at me. I feel my cheeks heat up and Taehyung clears his throat.

"So Lyra tell us about your days in college." He says and I look at him before scanning the table.

"W-well, it is very fun but also a little difficult." I say and Namjoon's mom leans in a bit.

"Do you want Namjoon to tutor you?" She asks and I decline her offer politely.

"It's no problem to me Ly." Namjoon says and I smile.

"Tank you but no thank you. I got it, I just need to push myself a little more." I say and dad nods

"Good but don't deprive yourself of self care." He says and I nod.

"Have you found any guys you like?" Jungkook asks and I glance at Hoseok and he smirks and leans in.

"N-no. No! I haven't." I say and they nod.

"Eric how's college treating you?" I ask and he swallows his turkey and hums.

"Like you said. Fun but hard. We got this though." He smiles and I smile. I look at the empty seat across from me and frown.

"Has anyone heard from Minji?" I ask and they all shake their heads.

Once we all were now eating dessert, I hear the door bell. I get up and walk to the door and open it. I gasp as Minji stood at the door and I hug her tightly.

"Minji I missed you! Where have you been?" I ask and she hums a laugh.

"I've been busy, sorry. Am I too late for the food?" She asks and we all welcome her in.

"Just in time for dessert. Have you eaten?" Dad asks and she nods.

"I have and I see everyone is here. Hi guys." She waves and sits in her seat.

I couldn't help but smile. My best friend and I were finally back together happy and healthy. Into the night after everyone ate, we all migrate to the living room where we all agree to watch one movie together. We let Eric decide and he picks a thriller.

We all find our spots mixed in with each other. I find myself on a large bean bag next to Hoseok. I honestly didn't mind it. Mom went to get everyone hot chocolate. As we wait, Taehyung calls me to the hallway. I comply and lean against the wall across the hall and look at him who did the same across from me.

"What do you think you are doing? Don't sit next to him." Taehyung says and I open my mouth to argue when he shushes next.

"No buts. Now go help mom." He says and grabs my shoulders and turns me around and pushes me towards the kitchen.

When we come out I see Taehyung sitting in my seat. I squint and place a fake smile on my face as I helped pass them out. I sit next to Yoongi and he scoots on and offers me a blanket. I gladly take it and we both bundle up.

After the movie everyone was basically full and tired. All the elders were given the guest rooms while the younger kids, aka the offspring of the elders, had to bunk with each other. Hoseok's sister and Namjoon's sister come to my room and we stay up playing around before being told to go to bed.

I wake up around two in the morning and sneak out the room. I didn't want to wake anyone up. I head to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water. I lean against the counter and start to drink it. I hear footsteps coming my way and I got ready to give an excuse when I see Jimin coming in.

"Can't sleep?" He asks and I shake my head.

"Same. Hey, it was fun yesterday." He smiles and I give him a nod.

"Hey, can you keep a secret?"
