I say cross cross on my bed as I look at my phone. I hear harsh coughing outside my door and I get up and walk to the door. I open the door and saw Minji hunched over in the guest bathroom across from my room.
"Minji are you -"
"I'm okay." She says quickly running the sink on. She sniffs and places her hand over her heart before wiping her mouth.
"You sure?" I ask and she nods and looks at me with a smile.
"I promise. I also brought the surprise with me." She says and tells me to wait in my room. I head back inside and sit on my bed.
She comes inside and brings a flat box wrapped in present wrapping. I smile and gently take it from her as she hands it to me. She sits in front of me and I open the gift. I reveals a beautifully framed picture of Minji, Eric and I the day before we all parted ways. I tear up and look at her and hug her tightly.
"I love it Minji. I finally have home with me while I'm away." I smile and she hugs me back.
"I'm glad you like it Ly. Now I must get going, college you know?" She smiles and I nod. She pats my head before getting up and leaving.
I watched her go and noticed she was swaying a little bit. I shrug since she did get up kind of fast and look back down at the picture. I smile and get a text from Hoseok though he was just a couple rooms down.
Hobi✨✨: Club tonight??
Me: Alright, what time?
Hobi✨✨: 10pm??
Me: Great! I can't wait!
