The next week Lyra was packed up and on her way to Washington with Ji soo and Bo gum. Taehyung made her be on the phone with him the entire trip there. The drive being just about fourteen hours, Taehyung made her stop at a hotel once she hit the seven hour mark, even though that was the plan anyways. When Taehyung was busy all he would do it set the phone with another member or next to some music so she had something to listen to while she was on the road.
They finally make it to Washington, they make it to the place they were staying at. As she settles in, she pulls her laptop out and sees an email from her boss. She smiles as her boss lets her know that since she cares deeply about her college education, after this Japan documentary, Lyra will be able to go back to Stanford and work from there. When she graduates is when she officially moves to Washington.
Ji soo comes walks into her room with his black shirt in hand and grey sweats. Lyra looks up at him and waves.
"Bo gum is at the store, need anything?" Ji soo asks after he waves back.
"Just a pack of water and some sprite." Lyra says and he nods and walks out her room before stopping and turning back around.
"Are you alright?" He asks and Lyra nods.
"I'm okay, thank you." She smiles and he nods before leaving again.
Lyra texts in the group chat saying she made it and she relaxes into the bed. Tomorrow afternoon is when she leaves fore Japan.
When Bo gum comes back Lyra could hear the two guys talking and laughing. Lyra gets up and walks to them. They look over at her and smile.
"Catch." Bo gum says and tosses a package to Lyra. She catches them and smiles as she looks down.
"Gummy these are my favorite!" Lyra smiles as she looks at the package of a Lemonheads.
"You're welcome. Also, Taehyung sent me this." He says and shows Lyra his phone.
Kim Taehyung: Good evening. I would like to inform you that if you leave my sister alone or if she gets injure I will come find you. My sister is very precious to me and she needs to be protected while away from her amazing big brother. Please keep her safe.
Lyra laughs and opens the package and looks at Bo gum and Ji soo. She hugs them before walking to the kitchen.
"You're still a kid." Ji soo teases and Lyra groans and opens the fridge and grabs a water.
