Lyra was actually in Japan a little longer than she expected to be. What was supposed to be only 18 turned into 19 months. It wasn't much or a difference but she did want to be home. She had a lot of fun while she was go in Japan. Many picture with people and animals.
Since Lyra drive the entire way to Washington, Ji soo and Bo gum took turns driving back. Lyra was exhausted. Lyra knew it was going to be stressful with school and her job but they was extremely stressful. Her grade dropped to low B's but now coming back to campus she was going to be able to get her grades up.
Once Lyra gets back to Stanford, she went to the cafe and found Mercedes there eating with her boyfriend. Lyra smiles and jogs into the building, Ji soo and Bo gum close behind and Lyra places her hands over Mercedes eyes.
"Who the- who is this?" Mercedes asks and Lyra giggles.
"Guess." Lyra says and Mercedes gasps and screams she pops up and hugs Lyra tightly.
Both women were supported up by Bo gum as they almost lost balance, laughing. They let go and Mercedes couldn't help but smile as she looks at Lyra.
"I missed you so much! How was it? Any pictures?" Mercedes asks and Lyra nods.
"I missed you too! When you are free I'll tell you all about it. I heard my brother and the others are in town so I'm gonna surprise them at a concert. I already set it up with the staff." Lyra smiles and Mercedes nods.
"I hope it's recorded." Mercedes says and the two continue to talk before Mercedes has to get to class. Now all Lyra has to do is surprise the boys.
