I was chilling on skype with Eric and Minji. Minji had fallen asleep but before she went to sleep she asked if we could stay in the video call. She didn't want to feel alone and wanted to wake up with us still there with her.
"You can sleep too Lyra, you need some sleep too." I hear Eric say as I was zoned out. I look back over at the camera screen and he gives a small smile.
"Eric I'm okay." I wave and he slightly tilts his head.
"You sure? You're zoning out over there." He says and I shrug and sigh.
"Just thinking. National Geographic loved what I did and they wanted me to start as soon as possible and offered me a job. I had to send them a few things and did an online interview and I was give the job." I say and he claps and smiles.
"I'm glad!"
"Eric...why are you so caring?"
"It's because I love too much and too hard."
"You love us?" I ask and he nods and smile.
"I love you all so much. You're like my extended family. Now, get some sleep. You've had a long day."
