As I was sitting against my window sill when I get an offer for volleyball at Stanford university. I sit up looking at the notification on my phone and smile. Stanford was my dream school and their volleyball team was amazing. I get up and walk to my parents room and see them both sitting on the bed reading. I knock on the door frame and they look up and greet me.
"Hey um...may I talk with you?" I ask and dad it's the bed in front of him. I sit down and take a deep breath and lol at them.
"I want to go to Stanford university in the United States." I say and they both fall silent to the news and look at each other before me.
"Are you-are you sure?" Mom asks and I nod.
"That's my dream school and I just got a recruitment email from the head coach." I say and they both clap at the news.
"If that's what you want baby. Any scholarships?"
"Full ride."

I sit at the end of the slide and sigh, seeing my breath in front of me. I rub my hands together and I hear my name. I look up and see Eric and Minji walking up to me. They find a seat in front of me and I tell them the news. They congratulate me and said they'll get me a gift.
"Aren't you scared to go back?" Eric asks and I shake my head.
"Mmm, no. Besides, maybe now I can start my new life. Now that...Taehyung doesn't claim me, I have no connection to the other members anymore, I can finally live without worry of cameras or anything." I smile and they look at each other before back to me.
"Stay safe babe. Oh, and we will come visit you." Minji says and I smile.
"I'll miss you guys."
"We'll miss you too."
