"Lyra get to the hospital now!" Eric shouts and I stand up causing Taehyung, Jin and Yoongi to look at me.
"On my way." I say and they stand up.
"I need to go to the hospital now."
We all rush into the hospital and see Eric waiting for us in the waiting area. He takes us to Minji's room and I get a bad feeling. We enter her room and Minji was watching tv. I noticed how pale and fragile she looked. Her melanin was faded and she looked like she could break with any moment.
"Minji, we're here." Eric says and I noticed she was out of it.
"Minji what's going on?" I ask and take her hand.
"She's a bit loopy from some substances the doctors gave her. She just requested you saying that it was an emergency." Eric says and I look back at her.
"Lyra, Eric..boys. I have some news I need to tell you." Minji says quietly and we nod and she hums.
"The doctors said that I only have two months to live." Minji says and the news breaks my heart. Jin quickly gets me a chair and sits me down as I feel my legs almost give out.
"What are you serious?" Eric asks and Minji slowly nods.
"I want to see you both graduate and I will do my absolute best to hang in there, but they're not seeing any good news for me. My body was responding well to the chemotherapy but now, not so much. We're not giving up though." Minji says and we all nod.
"Jin, Yoongi oppa...please watch Lyra when Taehyung can't." Minji says and they nod. She looks over at Eric and gives a smile and gently places her other hand on his cheek.
"I will always comfort you Eric. You're my little brother. Don't let those guys at your school take your joy." She says and Eric nods as a tear slides down his face.
"I love you all so much."
"We love you too."
